Not sad, angry, depressed, or surprised.

Just waiting for next season, and hopefully some slick offseason moves.

BigTwoston, not only am I sad, angry and depressed about this game, I am about the whole season. This game just sums it all up for me. Half our team is out with injuries, the Rockets battle close, and of couse let the game (an ugly one) slip away. Poor coaching decisions once again, why in the hell is Moochie guarding T-Mac?!? I know and understand we need a better draft pick, but what ever happened to pride? I guess it might be too late for any pride this season.

there have been quite a few times this season when we have mailed it in, but tonight was not one of them. we played very hard until the end. sure moochie shouldn't guard tmac but that has nothing to do with how much effort we put in.

BigM, i wont question that they played hard for MOST of the game, but some of the decisions that were made were questionable. We both agree that Moochie guarding T-Mac was a bad decision by Rudy T, and there have been quite a few this season. I now its not all his fault, but I'm just frustrated with this season in general. I've never seen a team this unlucky in my life. Of course I am speaking of injuries. Just like all of the other games, I believe we would have won this one if we were healthy. And I do believe they had a chance to win it tonight if they really wanted it. I've been denying it for awhile, but I think they're tanking for sure now. I guess its the 20 point loss to the Grizzlies that did it in for me.

I'll question that they played hard. If Orlando had hit some of their wide open shots and layups early in the game, we would have lost by 30. We laid down the whole first half. The Orlando announcers even said they thought Steve was the only guy who came to play. And they were right.

As for Moochie guarding T-mac, I'm not sure I blame Rudy. The Rockets have started switching on all pick and rolls, even if it leads to a mismatch. This seems to be a desperation move because no one can fight over a screen, and our big men don't step out. If the big man does, and his guy rolls, there's no help coming. We tried going behind screens, and were getting killed from outside. If nobody wants to play defense, what can Rudy do? Of course, it could be argued it's his job to get them to want to defend.

Rudy T made his best Mike Fratello impersonation with the stall ball tactics. Its one thing to run good offense, its another to play scared. Francis said they ran the offfense to perfection, but they scored 74pts? T-Mac showed the Rockets the difference between good big men and good little men. On a pnr switch he just shot over the little man. I wonder what Francis would do in that situation. Play with the ball, take it between his legs then shoot a heavily contedted jumper over a taller player. How many times have we seen a pnr with Francis and Griffin and the guard is on Griffins back and Francis turns into Slick Watts?

About Eddie. Man, we really can't be happy with his second half of the season. He's been missing shots left and right. And not only that, he's been missing badly. He either takes paint off the rim or cracks the backboard. Also, his defense doesn't seem to be as outstanding as it was early on. I know he's going to be a great player, but I think a lot of us including myself were hoping he would be a huge player for the Rockets next season, and I'm just don't see that happening anymore. Hopefully he'll get a lot of work in the weight room this summer, as well as some work on his post game, because I don't see him being much more deserving of 15-20 minutes per game right now.

    leebigez,

    Man, you better be careful.

You know what happens to people who tell the truth. ;)

Anybody else feel like crying when they saw the starting lineup the Rocks put on the floor last night? Say what you want about Steve, but who else was supposed to shoot the ball last night, who is he supposed to pass to?
