around 8min left in 4th qtr, when Yao, Artest come back to the game...
those players play like a totally different team suddenly...
they move the ball patient and seeker the best attacking spot....
if i am not wrong, it should be artest, yao, hayes, alston, landry on the court at the time, maybe this is what called experience...and a contender...
important points: artest made those shots and yao didn't turn over the ball

this rockets is more like going to succeed in the offseason

Rafter catches a lot of hell around here, but he had a good game last night despite his shooting percentage.

I like that he drove the lane.

He came in and stopped the Anthony Johnson barrage where they were exploiting and posting up Brooks.

Rox won two in a row when I was visiting the Venetian Casino in Macau, China. I lost $200 HK and Rox won both games. Perhaps I should do the same as long as I can afford it :D . Go Rox.

    It would be

    rafer
    tmac
    battier
    scola
    yao

artest will come off the bench

and if u havent heard...tmac is going to sit out for a while to strengthen his knee so we'll have a line up of

    rafer
    artest
    battier
    scola yao

Yeah, his shooting percentage was low, only 37.5%, he should improve.

Good thing is we won, in our big 3, the tacit understanding has gradually set up...

We could win the West with a point guard, like Jameer Nelson. I didn't know he would turn out this good. His outside shot is little weak, but he's a gamer.

this last couple of wins is due a lot to the perimeter guys knocking down perimeter shots, early in those ugly losses almost no one can hit a shot, now we are playing JVG ball, throwing into yao, if double comes throw it back out to the perimeter guys and hope they hit the shot.

The Orlando coaches are idiots, all they had to do was have Dwight front Yao and this would have taken him out of the game. The big liability is rendered helpless by teams that front him.

Yao suffers from a lack of confidence and he got it going against Dwight early. But there isn't no way we wouldn't trade Yao for Dwight if Orlando offerred. It's a no brainer like the Steve/Cuttino/Cato for Tmac and J. Howard.

I agree that Dwight's offensive game is below raw. What is he doing in the offseason?

Fronting Yao takes alot of exertion, and most centers who do it consistently are ones that are willing to entirely sacrifice their offensive game. Add that to the fact that Dwight fronting Yao takes out his rebounding, and the Magic outside of Dwight are horrible rebounders. Given that Tmac and Artest are playing at full strength, having a team like the Magic front Yao actually doesn't give them a tremendous advantage.

Wow, is this a Rockets fan forum?

It's easy to TALK about fronting Yao, like it is to talk about putting a hand in Kobe's eyes. Fact is that Yao has been a 20+ ppg scorer for several seasons now, and fronting him isn't exactly a secret. Depending on the positioning a defending center may not be able to front if he wanted to, and he has to fight for the front while sacrificing his own rebounding position.

Dwight has been statistically inferior to Yao for most of his career, excluding games played. Granted Yao has started this season slow while Dwight has played like a monster, but this season needs to go on longer before it can be given to one guy.

Remember when Amare exploded and people were talking about how he was so much better than Yao? Then he missed an entire season and played worse than Yao in the next one? Dwight needs to prove himself for a lengthy amount of time before people annoint him the best center in the league.

I love the Big Liability and enjoy watching his skills on display, however, I'm a realist and would take Dwight Howard in a minute. The pick n roll that gives Yao trouble, that goes away with Dwight. Dwight post moves are elementary to Yao's offensive game. However, remember how we groan when Yao doesn't get a key offensive or defensive rebound. Dwight would clean up those issue plus have a higher block shot ratio.

Dwight is going to play at a high level for the next 5 to 7 years. Yao is peaking right now and will start a downhill spImage Dream teaching Dwight Howard moves that Yao cannot make due to his physical makeup.
