The only downside to Brad Miller is that he's slow. But you know what? This team is slow. Yao can't run and McGrady doesn't like to run. You are what you are. Why fight it?

Walter Hermman! Im serious. Look at his profile from Hollinger on ESPN. We could probably get him for cheap too, maybe Luther Head and a second rounder. Then Scola can have a buddy too.

A PF that can stretch the defense by shooting the 3 ball would help Yao and the spacing issue a lot.

Why can't Marcus Camby make something like $5M/year?

Seriously, if that were the case I think I would start riots until we pulled this deal off. Camby addresses all of our frontcourt needs: size, shot blocking/altering, experience, offensive efficiency. He's clearly not in the Clippers longterm plans and his value is low.

Perfect timing...if he didn't make a hefty chunk that would involve us parting with Battier or somebody else of significance in order to obtain him.

Exactlly. I have been saying for a long time that we need a PF with 3pt shooting ability. It doesn't matter if his 3% is bad (like Rasheed), at least he can make some attempts.
adelman's systerm needs a big guy(c or pf) to stand on perimeter in order to clear the paint for the guards. but yao can either dribble or shoot at that position. our coach is good and our rosters are prety good too, but they just don't fit. besides, we also need a pg who's smart enough to run ric's complecated systerm.
we also need a backup center, hmm? so...

    tmac= tinsley+murphy+foster

that's an interesting proposal if you consider how they would fit in. but man it just hurts to think about trading mcgrady for those players.

    Brian Cook?

And Clips just traded mobley and thomas for randolph.

A trade for camby = hayes, alston and head.

I would like to see Charlie V or Sean williams added to the rockets to give more height to our front court.

How about Luther Head for S.Williams from NewJersey?
He's the very person for HOU,a height of 2.08m,with a good reaction for rebounds.
What's more, he may get those big PFs in trouble, at least better than Landry and Scola......
I thought it would be possible for NJ really lacks some guards.

Honestly, I think it's time we let this team gel. Every year, you know what analysts call us? The 'new-look' Rockets. For a change, lets allow this team to grow together. At least just for 2 seasons straight. Everybody's so eager to pull the trigger on trades, sign any decent FA who was just released etc.

The only roster movement I want happening is to add Dikembe back into the mix as Yao's backup and motivator. Dikembe is a great locker-room guy and gives us a defensive presence in the middle. No matter how old he is, there's no denying that he can still play.

    Rafer, T-mac
    maybe a pick

    For
    Steve Nash
    Boris Diaw
filler, preferrably hill/barnes, if they are willing, or lopez.

both teams are just sitting in the same spot and need to spark soemthing to move forward

Not sure if this has been proposed before because this is a huge thread, but if the younger bigs in okc begin to produce more, perhaps joe smith would be expendable? head + francis for joe smith works out on the espn trade machine. Even though I still believe francis could still have some gas left in the tank, I'd probably lean towards making the deal if possible. Smith would give us a backup pf/c with size and experience.

two things wrong with that. i dont think rockets are letting tmac go anywhere anytime soon. and secondly, how do you think matt barnes would go down on the houston rockets. think back to the last suns game.

someone else said on here they were dreaming about devin harris coming to rox, i couldnt agree with you more, he is so impressive, he is so quick, and his stop and shoot on the break along with this shot in general is amazing. like a better version of brooks, a lot better. i just dont know what it would take to get him.

If the rox want to matchup with anyone in the league and make the most sense.

    Camby,Jordan

    for Scola,head,francis, dorsey

Money is the same. Camby has this yr plus 1. Jordan is a development guy. Scola gives the a decent, cheap player. Head and francis can expire. Dorsey is a development guy.
