I hate when people say Yao doesn't jump

that's the highest can he jump.

thats a short jump btw. he does jump just that he so daam tall that he doesnt need to jump that high.

In fact, yao's never jumped that high and will never do that, it only happens in the virtual world. Yao does try to jump but he just CAN'T jump.

 

Only if he had a 42" vertical...

 

does someone want Yao can jump as high as SF3?

I'm just going to state the obvious here for the newbies - Yao should jump no higher and no more often than necessary. That will lower the impact on his body. Having a huge vert (30"?) would shorten his career.

That being said, I don't want to ever see him get blocked by the rim again.
