Is there anyone else in the league that can just dunk over a 7 footer off of a post move.

we scored with ease even before our stars came back in the 4th. we were trading buckets -> that was bad b/c our defense didn't step up. when the stars came back, the defense got a little tighter.

yao's dunk was a nice play and pumped the team up, but it didn't turn the game around.

Shaq, Dwight Howard, & Amare can but not taking away from Yao's big dunk. It was his best one of the year so far.

    Bingo.

All it took was for the Rockets to start playing like they cared.

It shouldn't be special when Yao dunks on a lesser defener and it shouldn't be special for T-Mac to hit a couple of threes when trying to put a team away. Its what is expected of them. In fact, we should expect it for 4 quarters, not just 8 minutes.

yao's own perspective on the slam -

"That dunk made me remember my first year against Shaq (O’Neal)," said Yao, who made 6 of 9 shots for 18 points. "I was thinking I could block shots and let him catch in the paint and had the same thing (happen) to me."

Yao hit the hoop heavily with his hand, no for increasing our team moral but because he had to touch the hoop strongly to gain enough force to keep himself balanced. Because he didn't jump high enough so there wasn't enough for him to get prepared for landing, luckily his reactions came just about time. I'm happy to see his improvements in his quickness but appointed with his jumping height.

Is yao's monster size frighten the freebooters back? I doubt it.

I'm afraid this dude had unconciously pressed the "cap lock" when he was playing CS before he made the post, he should have unlocked the "cap lock" but it seems that he neglected it.

True. But he's just a kid. I wouldn't mind having him on the Rockets. If we could pick up a guy like that to play behind Yao we'll be downright savage.

That kid was bugging Yao all night on the offensive boards, going for every one, and let's not forget that he tries to throw everything down within reach.

If he got that tip slam that he missed towards the end, that would have been so nasty...

But Yao pwned him. Showed him how it's done in this league haha.

    Oh and Ron's dunk

His ankle didn't bother him too much elevating for that monster slam... :D

I'm glad he finally made one. He's tried this a few times only to be rejected by the rim.
