More Video Game Review Problems with Eidos

    Barrington Harvey issued a statement later on where they quickly backtrack on things they said, but it is obvious what they want.

    Of course, this is (or should be) common knowledge at this point, but reports like this always seem to bother me. I guess the good news is that some reviewers didn't really care what Eidos said and posted sub-80 scores anyway.

    Nobody ever liked Tomb Raider games to begin with.

    The concept was cool and technically it was a step forward for PS1 at the time, but the game itself was kind of blah blah. I never even got around to finishing it.

    no kidding, it was neat at the time, plus the giant breats didn't hurt, but the franchise is mediocre at best.

    Tomb Raider Legend was pretty kick ass...reminded me a lot of the Sands of Time trilogy...did it push the envelope or journey into uncharted waters, no. But it's a fun game...a helluva lot of fun.
