I'm all over this...the past couple of season have been out there, but overall I still am interested in the show...
I agree. But I am excited to see some Jack Bauer Power Hour (two hours, actually ) again. Been off the air for far too long.
Yeah, i'm excited for this. even though I keep thinking each season has been weaker, I'll go back and watch them and realize, they weren't too bad at all. I don't know if it's b/c I think TV shows suck now or it's just that good.
I'm just concerned that Redemption will pump me up so much that it will make it even harder to wait another 2 months for the actual season to start.

I was setting up a Season Pass last night and I was wondering why there was only 1 episode listed. Been waiting a LONG time for the next season.
I hope that they make it where you don't have to know what has happened during most of the last two seasons because I haven't watched. It's been so terrible that after a few episodes I just give up. It would be great if it can regain its lost glory.
I know it's cool to hate a show as critically acclaimed and popular as 24, but Season 5 was generally loved on this board and elsewhere, when it won its only Emmy for best drama. Not that I'm saying you can't have your own opinion, but if you're saying the last two seasons have been subpar, you're definitely in the minority. Season 5 was as good as any television I've ever seen, frankly.
It has been way too long. I hope that this can try to fill the void of about 2 years. they have a lot of ground to make up. The previous season kinda sucked a$$.
I loved 24. I even watched the first three seasons all over again in a 3 day period so I could get my friends to love it. Last season was the only season where my interest fell off. I will still try to catch up the last 12 hours just so I know what's going on. I didn't mind season 5, but last season was eh and most people I've talked to said 6 sucked as well, rehashing old story lines. That said, I'm excited about this upcoming season. Hopefully the movie will be awesome and build up some deserved hype for this season.
I liked Season 5, but 6 was lacking. I am jonesing though for some Jack Bauer! This episode looks like it will be a good one.
It's a prequel to Season 7. It fills the gap between S6 and S7. In Redemption, Jack in an African country. I'm pretty sure the central location in S7 will be within the US. Because of the real time format, it wouldn't make sense to have Jack start out in Africa and then catch a plane to the US because he'd be in the air for 1/3 of the season.
i hope it doesnt start off really good like the last season they had..with the 2 hr premiere being badass and then the rest of the shows throughout the season bein alright the way it started off seemed like the whole season was gonna be badass but it didnt stay like that
Loved it. Sure, the action scenes were predictable -- but the background and the plot development were unlike storylines done before. The best part, though?
