Boy, that's a heavy price to pay for telling the truth. It looks to be the same old Clippers, even though right now they have arguably the best young nucleus in the league.

The sad part is that he's telling the truth. That team is sooooo close to being playoff contenders & Sterling is probably going to let it fall apart, because he's too cheap to pay his players.

Maybe, Jeff could help the Clipper fans out (after we get Odom from them, of course) with a Save Our Clippers drive. The slogan could be, Let's SOC it to Sterling. :D

How about it Jeff? You ready for a new campaign?

i'd rather get kandi from them.

we would have a post player, someone who is dedicated to winning as a team, and no off the court problems like odom.

i'd give them our #1 & cato for the kandiman

Whatever happened to free speech. He called it as he saw it. At least their center says things instead of shrugging people off.

That's strange they came down so heavy. Mo and Derek Anderson publicly criticized the team back in the day and I don't remember them getting fined.

Deep down Odom must be completely flustered. I would smoke my troubles away, too, if I saw Mo and DA completely ignored my rookie season, and then when my turn finally comes around, realize that I will be ignored as well. It's such a predictable pattern with Sterling--it makes you wonder what kind of player it takes to be worthy enough to break that pattern.

It's reminiscent of the old Communist-era Russian joke about the guy who ran through Red Square yelling, "Brezhnev is an idiot!"

Got sentenced to 10 years in prison for revealing state secrets. :D

I would trade Cato and KT for Kandi...KT is the odd man out and at least Kandi has shown flashes of coming around as an offensive player.

    The thing about Kandi --

While he hasn't quite lived up to expectations, by all accounts he's a smart and at least not completely lazy guy. Everyone knew he was a project comming in; I've got to wonder if his developmental shortcommings might be a result of the chaotic and often incompentant Clippers coaches that he has cycled through since he was drafted.

Something tells me that he might benefit from a stable coaching staff that has at least some positive experience tutoring young players in developing skills.

You guys are crazy. You think Cato doesn't hustle, wait till you see this guy. This guy will never amount to anything. This is his contract year. He will mail it in after receives his big contract. Cato for Kandi, ok. You guys keep throwing KT in like he is a filler when he is probably one of our best commodities.

Clippers will have trouble re-signing Kandi. Clippers need center. Cato is center with contract at avg. price. Sign and trade Cato for Kandi. Kandi has superior skills, drive, smarts, potential. Add non-essential Rox clips may want, if necessary. Pay Kandi's back up back up money - vet min.

I prefer Odom+Kandi for Cato + Mooch + KT + pick, of course. That's a good salary trade, for us. Depends on the player's desire to be here and the leverage we can get v/v the market w/ the clips. Odom (boards, assists, pts) and Kandi ( boards, hands, pts, d ) could command one of our top players, also, minus the pick. The clips want a PG, C, and back up (vet) PF.

Cato has a huge contract too, remember? Why would the penny-pinching Sterling opt to trade a soon-to-be-highly-paid good center (Kandi) for a highly-paid worthless center (Cato)?

Its not that I dislike Cato, Its that you must come to the realization that Cato is just a mediocre center...Nuff said, he will never be a Hakeem, or a leader for this team.

Neither will 98% of the centers in the league today, so I can't complain.
