NO, his knee will never reach 100% because Rocket fans need him on the court, even though the best thing to do is to let him rehab his knee until he's a 100%.
He has his best excuse ever to be lazy and show up and play when he wants! He only has those good games to protect his trade value. I think he is just protecting himself from getting traded. Maybve if we start a rumor of him being traded he might actually play tonight!
Yes, and also his shoulder and his back, but that will happen on the last 3 months of his contract year, so here´s for a long long wait. I hope it´s not the Rockets the team that bites on that one again.
Doesn't he have arthritis? No, it will never be 100%. He has not been 100% in a very long time. The problem with this is that a guard can only get so slow (unless he's a sharpshooter) before he becomes useless. When he came here he was athletic now he is average at best. We'll play alot better when he heals some, if he doesn't get much better there are only 2 routes he can go: 1) develop into a reliable spot up shooter (possible, he has improved his ft%) or 2) completely suck
No. It'll be a good excuse for TMac. About TMac being injury prone (and not toughing it out) 'sheed and the rest of the Pistons joked: Half man, half a season .... Now TMac is "half man, half a game" or even "half man, half the effort"
tmac is slowly declining he used to rely on jumping abilities to score but now he hardly gets off the floor like that dunk he missed last game for example i know his knee is hurt but he always has problems with his knee and when he was healthy last year he was getting the same lift hes getting now. Even when he used to play here in florida he would rely on his jumping abilities to get lift and shoot over people but now he cant get as much lift on his jumpers thats why the shots are tougher for him now because he cant shoot over top of people as easily as he used to
His right knee is fine. His left knee is getting better. But he is still a wee knee and that is a problem. DD
Even if it does, odds are he'll sustain another injury. "Iron man" is an antonym for "Tracy McGrady".
well if he does.. believe me.. it'll be on meager shooting and with a moot point.. our victories with this team.. and this Tracy.. will no longer be decided by the amount of points he tallies.. but by how he does so.. people need to understand.. once and for all.. this man.. can no longer drive 22 feet out without the aid of screens.. which bogs down the offense as a whole.. and no longer provides us with a decent level of success.. because it's an even more predictable and more easily defended play than it ever was because.. his speed is down.. his leaping ability is down.. he has to start to learn to adapt his game to this team.. and this offense.. not the other way around.. he's not that Tracy anymore..
i agree. he's still very lethal in the high and low post. put him there a lot more tonight. i do agree that it's stupid putting tracy out at the 3pt line and expect him to beat his man off the dribble right now.
The day he gets out of the first round is the day Mcgrady will claim his knee is 100%. So the answer is maybe, maybe no.
