The Sporting News said something very similar to this which im elaborating on.

Francis has been such a team player all season. he has tried so hard to get everybody their shots and he has done a phenomenel job. not only does he have 6.5 assists but alot of his passes r terrific and take one more pass to complete the play.

i would like to see rudy T let francis have a game or two where he just does what he wants. let him create, dunk, drive shoot, show his skills, and take 25-30 shots. what have we got to lose now? i think francis could have a 40-50 pt. game very often if he was in chicago where brand shoots as much as he wants and pads his stats all day long.

id love to see a game where francis played wild and street ball. just a game or 2 not a whole season. i cant even imagine what kind of stuff he'd do/try. i often feel like francis is holding something back to be a team player, and he is an excellent team player btw.

btw ESPN needs to get it out of their heads taht francis is a 2. he could play it but he's simply a better 1. the assist/turnover ratio will improve drastically in time. if he was a 2 then what would happen to mobley, anderson, etc? he is gonna be an awesome PG.

he hasnt forced stuff like marbury or iverson all season even though i know he could, he doenst because he plays the game the right way. a couple of games where francis plays wild and fearless could really help his ROY cause. just my 2cents

just two 80 point scoring games and he takes over rookie scoring.
