I have to admit that the busier it is at work, the less I get on Clutchcity. It has been real busy lately and I haven't had much to say now that I want the Rox to lose... I also have become more active as the doc is saying its now OK for me to exercise after my traffic accident. One site you guys might want to look into if you are interested in getting into (better) shape is www.gymamerica.com I love this site and it is absolutely free. It is like having a personal trainer for nuthin'. One other update: As many of you who have read a lot of my posts may know I work for UT Austin. Well that's about to change. Although I really like working with the students, I am not being paid anywhere near what I am worth. So I'm off to the private sector. That's right, MULDER is LEAVING his GOVERNMENT JOB!!!!! Can you believe it? I am going to work for my favorite computer company. Not much more $ at first, but there are kick ass benefits and room for advancement in the future. Later folks, I'm out. Read ya later! ------------------ The truth is out there. [This message has been edited by Mulder (edited March 28, 2000).]
I'm addicted. I almost had to quit Cold Turkey earlier this year when my parents cut off my ISP. My computer was essentially screwed from emulators somehow destroying its ability to run Windows and read disk drives, so I couldn't just download some free ISP software. For the first time in nearly two years I had to do without clutchcity.net. I was pissed for the first week, but I did all right without it... That is, until the withdrawals started. I missed the page and all of its spoils and talking it up with all the BBS guys like Azim, Almu, Clutch, DREAMer, Jenna, popeye, Tex, and everyone else... Every time I had access to a computer, my junkie temptations took over. I had to go to Clutch City and see what was happening. I developed a habbit of visiting the library daily just to get my fix, but it wasn't enough. Those pushers and dealers frown upon posting on message boards for some reason, so I had to sell all of the furniture in my house and steal my uncle's tv to gather enough money to get my computer set back up again(okay, well $150 wasn't that much for a huge upgrade ). I got a free ISP to avoid the onslaught of my stingy parents and a week later here I am, in the middle of a BBS shoot-up. Oh yeah, that's the stuff. ------------------ WE WILL WATCH THEM FALL... next year, at least.
What Problem? rimbay: Neither, really. Ive been there before. You're so vain, I bet you think this site is about you, don't you? heypard: I dont know if youve been here, but since you like kids to already know how to play with cards, I bet you would like this. Blind? There's ClutchCity in Brail right? right? no prob here, nope. ------------------ Not only am I president of the WaltWizFanClub, I'm also the member. Oh yeah, and DoctorofDunk, Houston Rocks, RM95, Rocket Fan, TexSalsa, AzimdaDream, and Shanna.
Crisco: You done good homework, son. I was surprised, though, because I thought it was going to be some kind of insult site...I expect more from you. I am not vain, I am just better than everyone else! Ha - that card game site you put for heypartner is not as clever as it thinks it is. All of the cards are different... Crisco, crisco, you really do need to get consistent with your rimmy and rimbay and other stuff. Anyway, this post has no point. ------------------
Mulder: do you not have an email address? If so, could you email me please? Many thanks. ------------------ I need a new signature. 302
Kagy, actually I tried that they are a little slow in responding. I'm going to work for apple. Lynus: just sent the e-mail to you, check your inbox. Everybody else: <HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META NAME="Generator" CONTENT="Microsoft Word 73.1"> <TITLE>Wazzup</TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY> <FONT FACE="Textile" SIZE=7> Wazzup?!</P></FONT></BODY> </HTML> ------------------ The truth is out there.
Props to everyone at Clutchcity.net. although i don't post all that often, i read quite a bit. i love the rockets (no matter how much we lose) and i have enjoyed this sight from the first time i found it. (some time in '97 i think) Reading religiously, Plato ------------------
Oh, you must be thinking they're actually going to fix them... ------------------ <this space for rent>
Good point. I bet they but them in on purpose so that they have a reason for you to upgrade. MS next project is to try and put more bugs in Win2k home version (aka Millennium) then they have in the profesional one. That should be hard. ------------------ ~John~ "If you make it idiot proof they will make a better idiot." JohnyRocket's Fan Site

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not apple. actually they are pretty nice. I here there computers don't crash that much as aposed to Microsofts. Worst Computer Job: Being in charge of fixxing errors in Windows 2000. Why? b/c there are over 60,000 known errors in the programing code. ------------------ ~John~ "If you make it idiot proof they will make a better idiot." JohnyRocket's Fan Site
Life without ClutchCity? The other day when my partner screwed up packet filtering, I couldn't surf unless I was on the server (and I don't have a switch yet or an extra monitor - don't ask) To make a long story short, my personal project/website is down, b/c the 675s go straight into my workstation now ------------------
Alright Got DSL at home today...I'm main-lining now. My addiction goes to a different level. No more having to sneak a post in between my gabbing girlfriend's phone calls. No more missing my turn to toke in the chat room due to delays. And I can even have a chain post by netting several machines together with different cc.net IDs.
I don't post for a few days, don't miss it, then suddenly get a burning desire to see what someone has posted. ------------------
I swear, what Clutch has created must be a capital offense, 'cause he sure is making an impact. Think about it, imagine how many hours that people devote to this wonderful site at work rather than actually working? And all the students who lose study time due to their "addiction" to clutchcity.net? Man, Clutch has created a monstor that is heavily decreasing the overall productivity of workers and students. And with so many people addicted, it ends up having an effect of drastic proportions that may change the world as we know it. Damn Clutch, keep it up Azim da Dream ------------------ True champions do not take their failures to heart and never let success go to their heads.
