Who doesn't hate the Mavs? They have been a long hated rival of every Rockets fan, player, and coach for years-and for good reason. Aside from the fact that they are our div. rivals, and all the other reasons they deserve to be hated, what draws my ire the most is the much talked about playoff loss to them in 04-05. I hated the Mavs before that, sure, but after that I hated them more than any other rival we have. Even more than the HATED Spurs... Tonight's loss sucked, and gave me good cause for remembering why I hate the Mavs so much, but everybody disappointed about tonight's game needs to keep in mind that we are the better team-even if we did blow it tonight. The Mavs are getting older and older, and appear to be on the downslope; they had their chance at a title and it looks like they blew it, but our Rockets still have a couple years left in which to win it all. And take my word for it, here and now, when this season is over the Mavs will not be able to hold a candle to our record or to what we're gonna do in the post season. Though they won tonight, I don't think anyone being honest with themselves would a) rather be a Mavs fan this season and b) think that the Mavs are gonna have a better season than our Rockets. Yeah, we've got a little ways to go, and we could have gotten off to a better start (even though our schedule is ridiculous), but this season we've got a lot more going for us than those God awful Mavericks. Hell, the mavs will be lucky if they even make it to the playoffs with a higher seed than 7 or 8; so let's rejoice rockets fans-the hated Mavs are down and the sky is the limit for our Rockets!
i hate the mavs but dallas is a good city to live in, the pollution is not as bad as its in houston. Anyway, to mavs, hate the owner, hate terry, stackhouse and howard, hate that 40 pt loss, hate how they have owned us in recent yrs. just hate those despicable mavs.
Who hate Dallas? All the Texans except those who live in the damn city of Dallas. Till now, I still don't understand why the capital city of TX is Dallas but not Houston which is the fourth largest city in US. Hell Mavs and cowgirls.
Having read so many posts following,I really realised Dallas is Hated by many of us,hatred increased through last night's game.
