26th in the league in points per game at 92, if we can some how get our offense to click, we will be very good, but we are average at best now

We might have to suck for a couple more weeks before everyone is healthy (as healthy Tmac can get anyways) and we can start working on a consistent offense.

    Until then, Defense FTW!

it's been pretty bad, but before the season started most objective fans out there knew the starting 1/8 of the season was going to be a hard test for the rockets. now that we got the 5 game road trip out of the way, we started hitting a stride, but then freak injuries happen to our three superstars.

let's face it guys, our offense is gonna stink it up until mac, artest, yao, battier, barry all recover from their respective injuries. keep the faith people, as hard as it is to say.

    we need offensive players first.

We need someone can make 15 foot jumpers.

right now, this group of players can only brick 3s and drive to get FTs. They could not even finish a layup ot hit a mid range jumper.

That probably hurt more than anything tonight. As well as his efforts were to pull this game in the clutch, his layups rolled right off the rim. Frustrating.

We put up a good fight despite the terrible play throughout the first three quarters. We'll get them back.

This the first game you've watched? Both Landry and Scola make 15 footers consistently.

Adelman's offense sucks worse than JVG's

So this is the offense we were hoping for? The so-called Princeton offense? Hahahaha. It sucks!

both have no say to our offense. How many shot attempts they can get?

We need a shooter in our big three or whatever. We need a leader who is good at offense.

Adelman's offense wasn't in this game.. actually it's been rarely seen this season..

i can only recall two instances.. the 1st quarter of the Lakers game.. and the first half of the New Orleans game..

    other than that..

ADelman needs to put his foot down that minutes will go to players running his offense. When the Rockets do it they are pretty much unstoppable.

It doesn't say that his offense is worse than JVG's. It just means that our players can not run it now and probably never will.

JVG suits this team better though imo.

Agreed, but right now the only priority is to stay healthy.

Without that,we're going nowhere. No more injury plagued words,I think it's just a fluke. When our big 3 healthy on the court,Tmac sometimes would explode to drop 30 plus night in and night out.AND WE REALLY NEED A BIG FELLA OUT ON THE FLOOR TO HELP OUR DEFENSE IN THE PAINT.MOREY,PLEASE SIGN DEKE BACK ON THE ROSTER

Also I feel kinda sad about Brent Barry, this guy is totally lost in the Rockets' struggle so-called Princeton Offense. Low shooting percentage from behind the arc, turnovers, careless pass tonight to Skip ? What the heck is the problem with him?Maybe he should right his mind and focus on the game rather than thinking of something else.

Anyway,we still stay 4th in the west,1st in our division,it's 12th game into the season,it'll get better and better.

The players least capable of scoring efficiently are shooting the ball. That's why we have problems on offense. TJack, Testy get most of their shots just standing and shooting (at best a 20% attempt). Rafer can't make it from any distance reliably (even 6 inches) and he can get about a dozen attempts. Players don't drive or cut without the ball (read TJack). Also, we don't get into our offense quickly (read TJack who walks up the court and stands around waiting for the ball).

I don't like to hate on T-Mac, because I will never worry about him until he has a bad overall playoff performance.

The one thing that irks me the most is Rafer's 18-footer when the defender goes under the screen, giving Alston the wide open shot and the top of the key.

When will he understand that they are going under the pick for a reason?

He is not a consistent enough jump shooter to be taking that shot.

They might as well count those shots as a turnover.
