I don't see any "anti-gay" statements out of what he was quoted as saying, either. saying "gay marriage, whatever" and pointing to the bible doesn't really strike me as controversy.
I think he's more likely referring to Sodom and Gomorrah. Which is interesting, because the church has focused solely in on sexual sin for that...while the prophet Jeremiah made it clear that they were judged for not having compassion on the poor, but instead being too proud and haughty. Genesis doesn't describe in detail the "wickedness" of man that led to the flood.
Whether his comments were anti-gay or not, it's still strange to hear Prince make such sexually conservative comments.
