Durant doesn't do this night in and night out. Besides, his job is simple. All he needs to do is shoot, since they're expected to lose anyways. Less than 2 assists per game. Doesn't make any of his teammates better.

From the box score, it looks like he came out on fire. We'll see if he can sustain it through the second half, although I expect the Rockets defense to kick it up a gear.

I got the league pass and they gave us the OKC announcers tonight.

I don't think Tommy Heinson has ever not been connected with the Celtics. He played for them on 8 championship teams, he coached them for the better part of a decade, and he's been one of their commentators for over 25 years. All that being said, he is probably the most biased local announcer in the NBA.

If by everytime you mean he shot poorly in two out of four games in his rookie season.

Durant is playing well because Rocket's defense is no where to be found.

He's unhealthy, that is my point.

    Back Injury

    Knee Injury

    Shoulder Injury

He can't help that those injures kept him from being in his prime at 29.

In his prime, T-Mac was a 32/7/6 player with FAR superior athleticism than Durant, FAR better handles (hell, he still has better handles), and far better court vision.

tmac, when he got minutes, was averaging around 27 7.5 rbs and 5.5 or 6 assists and durant in his 3rd yr over 35 min is only averaging 22 4 rbs and 2 assists..

Never said he has been connected with the Celtics. But during the 80s Lakers Vs Celtics era, he was the main commentator for NBC. More like nostalgic reason for him.
