Anyone having problems accessing their remote DVR? I forgot to set the game to record tonight and i'm trying to access it. I wanted to know if it was just my account or if others were having problems to.

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I'll have to call U-verse to see what is happening.

In a related note... How do you like UVerse? Is it a vast improvement over AT&T Dish?

We have AT&T dish now with America's Top 200 + HBO & Showtime (No Skinamax, No Starz) for an extra 20 bucks. On top of that I pay another $40 for Elite speed internet. It looks like for $15 more a month I could get UVerse 400 with Elite internet.

Cable guy who visited yesterday said the quality is WAY better. Have ya'll found that to be true?

I have no complaints on the features. I especially like the guide and the PIP browse. Lag on the remote isn't bad as my g/f's DISH. My hugest complaint it the quality of the HD channels. It just doesn't as good as I expected. My downloaded HD videos of TV shows look better than u-verse's HD.

I'm still playing around with it so I can't say for sure if the ease of use and apparent low price is enough to overcome the quality of the HD.

I'm a blu-ray junkie so I'm probably being pretty picky.

Right now I'm paying 95/month for U300 with showtime + starz with 6mb internet with DVR/HD package up to 4 rooms.

is it supposed to ask you to log into Yahoo after you click on the remote DVR access link?

I've tried in both IE and firefox with no luck. Onthe phone with u-verse right now but they can't seem to figure it out.

I'm an idiot. I kept putting in my yahoo messenger credentials when it popped up with the yahoo screen. I was supposed to put in my ATT credentials. DUH!

It took me forever to figure out why my online U-Verse stuff wasn't working when I first signed up. Turned out the ******* person that signed me up over the phone mispelled the user name I gave them. The first part of it was my first name, Matthew. Well, they spelled it with one 't' (ie Mathew). When I tried to confirm over the phone what my user name was, they pronounced it correctly because it sounds the same. Finally it dawned on my to ask how they had spelled it and I figured it out.

I'm sorry for derailing the thread, but I just wanted to know if anyone else is not able to view the Rockets/Thunder game in HD.

The HD channel for FS-Houston is showing as "No Programming Scheduled..."

Most away games won't be shown in HD...it's only the home games you can count on to have HD.

One of my favorite U-verse features is how it automatically backtracks a bit after you fast-forward through commercials. Saves you the pain of having to time hitting the play button the exact moment it gets back to the program scene and then hitting rewind/forward every time you miss it. This was a constant pet peeve of mine with cable.

Don't feel bad. I did the same thing before finally figuring it out.

That's why it didn't record the game tonight. Geez! Imagine the feeling of avoiding the score just to come home to nothing :(

Just discovered that the reason why my Dell 2408 wouldn't receive a 1080i signal from the box was because of the HDMI cable.

The question is...there were HDMI cables made that didn't support 1080?
