I'm surprised to see that Cleveland is actually leading the league in offensive efficiency now.

I guess they were right about how good that team could become if they surrounded LeBron with a few legit weapons. I suspect they are now a legitimate threat to win the East (and the title).

I think 4 is too high for us considering how we lost to the Spurs.

We've lost to Boston, LA, San Antonio, and Portland and had a chance in all the games except LA. All the games except of Boston were on the road.

Considering Tmac, Battier, and Francis are still injured and should contribute positively in as they heal. I think we are in good shape. We are not contenders right now but if we start to get some chemistry and health, I only see Boston and LA competing with us down the stretch.

When you see Cleveland is no.1 in the list, you should know this ranking does not make a point. As for the rockets, they should be 5 or 6.

But holy crap every team but 2-3 avg'n less than 100 and only 2 teams defending well enough to keep teams averaging less than 100!

I hope we can get those points allowed down more . . .

Yea, Rockets shouldn't be anywhere near #4 considering we can't even crack the top half of the NBA offensively. Although, in their defense, they've played Boston, LA, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, Portland and New Orleans in their first 10 games, 5 of those games were on the road.

those are eff numbers I believe. The highest scoring team in the league is the Knicks at 105ppg. They also allow 105ppg....gotta love D'Antoni. We sit at 91.5 and 88.9 respectively. Lakers are a rocking 103.5 and 89...geez....we probably helped that inflation with our game... revenge will be sweet.

Damn, we are so overrated. We should be like 8th or 9th. Sure we beat suns and hornets but we got raped by lakers (understandable) but losing to the spurs? Even if its on the road, thats just pathetic.

I think its a very good ranking. sure we have had bad games (la and Sa) i dont think the portland game was a terrible one. but we have proven that we can beat the suns and most impressive the hornets, even without our starting PG

the hornets are considered by many to be the #2 team in the west. so when both houston and NO lost to the lakers, we got the tie breaker on saturday.

i still dont see how people can pick new orleans over us, when rafers out there we match up very well against them.

The Cavs are ranked where they are because they are on a 7 game winning streak. The Celtics had to go to overtime to beat Milwaukee... and last week, the Hawks were riding their 5-0 start to number 3.

It's about the week you had and where you were ranked before, so I can see since we beat the Suns and NOH even though we lost to SA we did deserve to move up in these particular rankings.

    Makes sense to me.

I don't see how NO is chosen over Houston considering we.. just beat them. Handily too. I don't think there was ever a point in the game where they were in control.

I dont know how Dallas is 18 with a 3-7 record. I would put Miami, New jersey, and the injured San Antonio team in front of them.

Check out Cleveland's schedule. You'll find out that they were helped out by some bad D. Nonetheless, LeBron is playing better than anyone else in the league, and Mo Williams looks like a great addition.

well, the Rockets survived the longest road trip this season, and 6-4is not that bad, but we definitely could have done better.
