Must have been those photos he saw of Lebron, Wade, and Anthony, coming out of the Chinese brothels that inspired him. They probably beat those Houston Asian spas he used to like. :p

Can you imagine this guy was offered multi million dollar contract just a couple of years ago and he turned it down?

The kings must be real happy now.

if i was a gm, i would be very very careful of offering contracts to players who shine in a contract year.

    tim thomas
    mike james
    bonzi wells

    the list goes on.

i wonder how much is he asking. If its not too much, i rather have him at the bench than head/von vafer.

I'm just glad he's gone. I doubt he was liked much around the locker room.

Come on people. Bonzi helped the Rockets last year before he was traded. We missed someone like him in the playoffs. Let's not bad-mouth him now.

So he can congest the paint more than it already is with Yao/tmac/artest?

Heard Mike Harris and Kirk Snyder have signed with Chinese teams also. Maybe its the Yao connection.

I'm one that liked Bonzi and wouldn't mind him at all on the Rockets roster. I don't see it happening though.

Definitely the attitude and work ethic that killed his career. It's hard to explain a consistently good veteran going from where he was to where he finds himself. I guess there are plenty of hungrier but probably lesser talents in the league.

Bonzi didn't want to practice with the team on the road during the preseason. JVG said okay, then stay at home and come back when you're ready. Bonzi said he was ready in the 2nd game of the season, but he clearly was not, because he was too bouncy. So he said he wanted to take time off to get back in shape. JVG said again stay at home. Bonzi did that and finally said he was ready in December. Their relationship was tainted by then.
