This is the time for them to be truthful to one another. If Artest thinks Tmac is not playing well or is not giving it his all,he just should tell Tmac. This is not the time to be nice to each other and I think Artest is the best man to tell him to his face. Artest is not playing well also but you can see his effort in every game. That is one of the reason we got Artest for, to be tough. The veteran's meeting was good but they should not hold back on the negatives to say to each other. I proposed this because as great is Tmac is. He is an on/off player. Yes he is injured but he was already inconsistent these past years not in terms of ability but in terms of toughness, will and aggressiveness.
Tmac should realize how important the situation he is in right now. The answers in his interviews reflects on how weak his state of mind is. The opinions in his interviews reflects on how defeated he is. The way he plays is someone who does not want to risk his health and just be safe by shooting jumpers. In short, there should be a sense of urgency in his part and Artest is the best guy to tell him to his face.
Players will never vicariously carry out your personal opinions of a particular player to that player. What gets me is McGrady's been in the league more than a decade and had several coaches. And even the most hard tough minded Van Gundy types haven't seemed to "address" McGrady on his approach. Nothing from Adelman would lead you to think he doesnt like McGrady's effort. Just strange always hearing it from everyone else but the coaches and players.
Artest should tell to tmac face to face, promissing her that he gotta share two of his six testicles to her. Even if that didn't work, ron should stilll try to stimulate her with kissing her or even sexing her (I know it's very hard a job to sex a girl who is taller than him, but I still wish Ron to have a try.) Thanks, Ron. It may be disgusting to sex tmac, but please try out, at least it won't kill you (Jean almost kill you when you tried to sex her, but you still love her. Just treat her as Jean, OK?). Thanks again, wolfrine.
artest shouldn't tell t-mac anything. he should try to get his own game in rhythmn. because until now, he, as the only one of our big 3 that is healthy, has almost sucked as much offensively as the other 2. artest is jacking up shots like t-mac. he doesn't know how to take advantage of his 1-on-1 mismatches. yeah, artest should just look in the mirror and tell himself to play better.
I don't play the bully mentality game and i doubt any of these guys would respond to it as well. I'd tell artest to make a jump shot!
Yeah, Ron is consistently bad on offense and good on D. Tracy is atrocious some nights and good others. Yao has good and bad days. They pretty much even out.
Anyone else find it ironic that the team talked about defense when they gave up 77 fricken points and failed to score in the last 5 minutes? DD
Not ironic. We scored enough points to win by the 4th quarter. All we had to do was stop an injury plagued team from catching up, and we didn't do it. I'm glad they talked about defense. Maybe the JVG spirit is still within them.
Obviously we made some defensive mistakes down the stretch, but when you give up 77 points it is ok, it is even good. but when you score 75 it means you sucked badly. If the Spurs had Manu, Parker. But damn they suck, they even sucked yesterday. But the Rockets were even worse. No offense. No T-Mac, no Yao. Only Artest made something happend but what? Nobody came there to play. We were passive.
Not really since the Spurs right now = a college team. Which makes it even more pathetic to blow a 14 point 4th quarter lead against that team.
I know this makes me an incredibly bitter fan, but I can't stop posting about how we lost to a junior high team last night. I'm not even mad about our record, I'm just mad we lost to a junior high team last night. We should give up the season right now. Yes, you heard me right. Forfeit the remaining 73 games. We could top the great 9-73 76'ers even All in all, I'll just post this loss out of my system. I should return to fairly positive posting within the next 24 hours or so.
You know, tanking may not be such a bad idea at this point. Get a couple of high lottery picks to go along with the $20million in cap space Tracy will leave us.
that would be a terrible idea, the last thing we need is players calling out other players, we're dealing with chemistry issues that isn't going to help in that area at all. i think he's just hurting and doesn't want to sit, but i think it's time to think about the big picture, sit tmac for a little bit, bring him back with battier, i think we can hold our own without him this year, we've got another star, a great defense, a powerful bench, we're deep, so use that depth, rest tmac
