How about total of one (1) (uno) all star team mate in his whole life in the post season. That would be yao ming.

One thing I know: When he's as sorry as he was tonight, I wouldn't let him chuck up weak jumpers late in tight games. He should have stayed on the bench. Tonight, Adelman's loyalty was equal to stupidity.

Going forward, the Rockets are stuck with whatever he can give this season. Next summer, they should be open to trading him. If Morey thinks a top level free agent might come here in 2010, Tracy will fulfill his contract here. I definitely don't want him here after that.

Here is the problem with T-mac.

T-mac is suppose to be a Star player, I won't say superstar right now, but no star player should have 3 games in 1 season where he has been held to under 10 points in a game, well T-mac has had 3 games like that in 1 month. Now the L.A. trip he had the flu or w/e. This game I guess he just wasn't feeling it. Well if he is sick and is battling this tough of an injury he just needs to sit out.

Now the big problem with that is T-mac is still capable of having big games example: Phoenix,Portland, and OKC.

It is probably one of the strangest situations that has ever been for a team but we have to deal with it or deal him. I would rather just deal with it at this point and hope someone lights a fire under his ass.

Get rid of him ASAP. He's become our Marbury.

He's still gimpy, not sure why though, he looked fine against Phoenix. He had no elevation in his shot tonight.

I'd like for him to get to 100% even if it means taking a couple of weeks off.

The biggest reason he has been playing bad is that he rely too much on his outside shots and he is by no mean a shooter(career 43%FG, 33.7% 3PT)
He is also inconsistent because when he shots are not falling he doesn't switch mode and start attacking basket.

He is at his best when attacking the basket, but we all know he no longer attacks the basket as frequently as he used to.

As you can see that he attempted 9.7 free throw during his best season( 2002-2003) at Orlando and his free throw attempt has been declining since he came to Houston. (7.1, 7.2, 6.9, and 5.4)

I understand that he is still recovering from off season surgery, but I also believe that his mentality also play a major role.

Since he is not a shooter, if he want to score consistently, the only way to do is to attack the basket.

Trade him. I've thought this for the past 2 seasons (3 including this one).

This has nothing to do with us losing a game now. If he shows up like he did in the Phoenix game, I still believe we should trade him.

WE ARE NEVER WINNING A CHAMPIONSHIP WITH HIM! It's as simple as that. And if we don't want to go into rebuilding, we have to trade him while he still has value.

Defend him all you like. Rat on the T-Mac Haters all you like. I AM NOT A TMAC HATER! I simply want to see the Rockets as NBA Champions again. I don't care who we have. I don't care if it is Yao Ming, T-Mac or Maurice fricken Taylor. I WANT THE ROCKETS TO GET RINGS!!!

What would I do with Tmac?

Take the ball out of his hands more often, especially when he is struggling.

Make him be the finisher where the final pass lands where all he has to do is shoot it.

Let AB run the show, he has better handles, better penetrating ability, and at this point in time can get the defense off balance more easily.

Trade this GIMP. I am tired of this fool chucking up jumpers. When he makes them, its all good, but when its not falling for him, OMG, hes like the worst so called superstar in the league. He does not attack the basket. Hes a gimp and he lost alot of his athleticism so exploding to the basket isnt an option anymore. His leg is gimpy and theres no way he can attack the basket with that gimp leg. This guy reminds me of a cancer that cannot bring us the ring. TRADE HIM PLEASE. Shoulda done Chauncey Billups and Rasheed for this fool.

Can you imagine a lineup for Chauncey/Ron/Rasheed/Yao. We would own this league!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too late now. Morey suck balls. You gotta fix the problem now before its too late because McGrady will not, I repeat, WILL NOT bring us a ring.

I love Tmac, i love that player too death...

But he isnt the Tmac he used to be. And problem now is that he has an even bigger burden on his shoulders. Everyone wants him to be the prolific scorer he should be right now, in addition, everyone wants him to run the plays as well. Focus Tmac on one task, make high % shots, dont have him try and make every play work because when he cant get it to work, hes gonna have to rely on his jumper which has been flat because he hurt and when your hurt, youre not gonna play well.

I agree, but Aaron Brooks needs to learn how to get the ball to damn Yao, freaking 9 shots and Brooks was at fault with those weak ass bounce passes......

Is this guy a complete idiot? Fans on this forum are ridiculous. Way too sentimental. They change their minds about a player through one game.

For God's sake, the guy's playing on one knee! Let him heal, and the doctor himself said that he isn't healthy yet. Wait 'til he is, then see if he still isn't getting some lift, quickness, agility, or explosiveness with that knee.

No, many people here agree with him. I am one of them. You really think tmac's knee is going to heal and he will get his explosiveness or whatever back just like that? He is old now. Even if his knee is healed, he will not attack the basket like he use to. He just doesnt have it anymore.

Anti-Sonic claims that he has been like this for a while, and only going to get worse. I can't say I disagree......

McGrady is not going anywhere. The Rockets are going to keep him until his contract expires unless someone is dumb enough to take on his fat contract in return for another star (highly unlikely). I rather weigh it for 2 more seasons.

we will hopefully let his contract expire and sign him to another contract that is much closer to his actual value.

I am pretty sure someone will offer him more $$$ though since he still does have 40 point potential.
