I think it's possible. I was looking over the schedule and, feel that we have a very strong chance of being 29-0 going into the Boston Rematch. Fri 14 @ San Antonio No Parker No Manu No Problem Sat 15 vs New Orleans Big Home Win Mon 17 @ Oklahoma City T-Mac takes the kids to school Wed 19 vs Dallas We're still bitter over the game 7. Blowout Fri 21 @ Washington No Arenas No Center Yao paints the town red Sat 22 @ Orlando Yao proves that he is the best center Mon 24 @ Miami As only Charles Barkley can say, Theyre Turrible Wed 26 vs Indiana Brooks schools TJ Ford and his hype grows Sat 29 vs San Antonio No Manu No Parker No Problem Sun 30 @ Denver Fun game. Sat 03 @ Atlanta Nice Warm up for Boston and we're rolling Tue 06 @ Philadelphia Igoudala shoots a sorry 1-20. And then it's Boston. I've seen how their Patriots team plays and the Rockets have a lot of that resolve in their play.. A never give up attitude that can only be amplified with our offseason additions. I swear there was pure magic out there on the court when we won our 22 straight. The Suns game was a great win, and given the favorable schedule, we may just be in for another of our Historical runs.
possible??? yes, this is the nba on any given night the worst team in the league can take out the best, but is it probable, absolutely not, too many other factors can change the outcome of a game
Not a lot of tough opponents, definitely possible, considering our loses are to boston, lakers and God. Maybe i am just happy because my exams are over but wooo go rockets 29 in a row!
I thought this would be absolutely ridiculous when I came in, but I can easily see us going 26-3 or 25-4 over that stretch, which is pretty damn good.
a game before, people panic. try to sell everything. a game later, now this. look at the history of the game. 22 in a row won't happen every season, my people.
Whats with underestimating Atlanta? At the moment theyre probably the best/second best team in the east and they dont even have josh smith back yet. And torontos up there as well. Dont underestimate these east teams, theyre looking pretty damn tough at the moment.
You are far off, but not too far off. Considering our tough schechule start, a lot of us actually expected us to go 5-5 or even 4-6 in the first 10 games, since strong teams are not a good way for us to gel. However, despite this, we were still able to hold up a 5-3 record with a relatively healthy team without the root of our defense Shane Battier. Once we can fully gel our team, we can look forward to something along the lines of 20-5 if we can really really gel.
Man, we're almost done with the crazy starting sched. San Antonio is doing us a favor and sucking so we don't have to deal with their methodical (read: boring) but efficient game. I hope we continue the ownage of NO, so that we can get right back on track and continue on the road to the parade. 29-0, though? That would be effing sweet.
I guess it could happen, we had a 22 game winning streak, a 29 game or even more might be possible. But as a word of caution we shouldn't expect get our expectations too high, rather take every game one at a time. Besides, I would find it an even greater thing if other our own patience with the Rockets would surpass our expectations.
Oops, gotta repost what i said, kinda sounds confusing. I guess it could happen, we had a 22 game winning streak, a 29 game or even more might be possible. But as a word of caution we shouldn't get our expectations too high, rather take every game one at a time. Besides, I would find it an even greater thing if our own patience with the Rockets would surpass our own expectations.
