What do you think -- "pound for pound" is Aaron Brooks the most athletic player in the league? It's probably between him and Nate Robinson.

well nate is 3 inches shorter than brooks, and has a dunk championship on his resume. i think ab is one of the most athletic, but nate still gets the nod in that matchup.

Cool  I wish I could watch he other two stunts he pulled last night. One is the offensive tip-in and other is getting the offensive rebound amongest the tree trunks. The guy is unbelieveable! I wouldn't compare him to Nate Robinson though. I think AB is smarter and more cool headed.

I never understood this "pound for pound" thing, when talking about athleticism. Unlike boxing (or fighting in general), increased weight or size doesn't necessarily correlate with increased athleticism. It's the exception rather than the rule that players like Lebron or Dwight Howard are so athletic. And that's why they're so valuable.

I think durvasa was just trying to avoid people saying "helloooo, LeBron James? Josh Smith?" because those guys always make crazy dunks and blocks due to their combination of athleticism and size.

that, and the term "inch for inch" wouldn't have been appropriate ;)

LOL! Hill looked at AB while running back down to our end, and you could tell what he was thinking, "Who the hell was that and where did he come from??"

I will never acknowledge that Nate Robinson is a dunk champ.......they all but gift wrapped it for him....the fix was in.....all he had to do was finally get his damn dunk to go

They pressed way WAY too hard to create another Spud Webb.

Nate is playing great. If you think AB is amazing, check out a Knicks game.
He is ranked overall number 9 in yahoo fantasy right now.......

I dont think CP could have done that. AB has a unique skill set, maybe the fastest PG in the league and blessed with major hops. Like Nate Robinson he'll always have defensive problems closing out shooters because of height but should get their fair share of steals because of their speed.

I love this kid and I hope the Rox staff is open minded enough to start him as the season goes on.

you cant start all your best players.. i think he's a huge plus coming off the bench for pts and energy.. imagine if we are down and we bring on the bench .. we would have no one to score.. AB off the bench is perfect now.. he provides instant energy and offense.. i think if shane comes back artest would be best as a 6th man too since he doesnt seem to be playing or scoring well when Tmac and Yao are on the floor

This is what athleticism can do for you and this is coming from a guy who's under 6 feet in Aaron Brooks...I don't care what anyones says about his height. Imagine if the Rockets had some athletes at other positions who were a little taller. I believe this team can compete for it all, but the Rockets are a group of unathletic players.

Aaron Brooks can basically be our version of Bobby Jackson in his prime off the bench. Instant offense.

Aaron Brooks and Ron Artest second unit.
They can both compete for 6th man of the year, and Aaron can definately grab that most improved player of the year considering the bulk of points he has been putting up lately.
