Agree, great defensive game. Granted the Suns missed some easy shots BUT a lot had to have something to do with the Rox constantly running at them and contesting the shot.

Also, am I the only one that noticed the offense was actually in motion quite a bit last night? I have the game recorded and going to take a look at it again today.

A lot of those shots the suns missed were contested by Yao....making them far less easy than they seem.

It's good to see some "hearts". I thought the game against Lakers lacking of it.
I hope they will continue to play with all their hearts in every game.

I must have been watching a different game from everyone else. I thought we still played pretty badly last night, and just got lucky because brooks/tmac were on fire and the Suns blew so many easy shots. The defense did not look good at all to me...the Suns were slicing right through it. There were a few nice plays on each end, but we easily could have lost by 10-15 with the level of play we showed.

We can't bank on 11-18 from mcgrady (4-5 on 3's) and 8-13 from brooks with both taking difficult, low percentage shots. Similarly, the suns aren't going to shoot 37% next time.

i was really surprised to see hayes guarding amare... in the first quarter or second quarter

i thought this was the perfect opportunity to throw in dorsey

at one point... hayes was playing C and artest was PF and mcgrady was SF with barry and brooks at guards

man... that's worse than small ball... that's almost midget ball

    +1

And for the guy who was wondering why was Hayes on Stoudemire, it's because Hayes actually knows what he's doing, and is a teriffic defender. Dorsey has a lot to learn and grow...

True. It's impossible to count the number of shots he altered at the rim, which is just as good as a blocked shot. It did seem like T-Mac was getting after it on the defensive end. The lone letdowns for me was Rafer roaming a lil too far on some double teams. That opened up a couple open shots but by then we had established a defensive presence and killed their rhythm.
