You can tell Shaq was just upset about the game and taken on everybody. He come charging in and pushed Yao, Pushed TMac and went on pushing everyone out of the way.
ESPN is totally making the Rockets out to be the bad guys. They state the play before T-Mac knocked Nash to the floor on a hard pick, and Barnes was retaliating by taking out our PG in return.
1. Thank god Artest was not on the floor. 2. I'm glad they didn't call a foul on Barnes. It would have negated McGrady's 3 pointer. And, they may have been what the official was thinking too when he swallowed his whistle. 3. Shaq probably kept the fight from escalating by pushing everybody down. You can't really throw many punches when you have a 360 pound man keeping you off your feet. Besides, who'd take a swing at him (with Artest chilling on the bench)? 4. IMO,the implications for this fight will have us see Rafer and Barnes be suspended for at least one game each. Fines for the rest of the players pushing and shoving.
I just watched it again on DVR, Rafer took a cheap shot on Nash as he was on the floor....that should be 1-3 games suspension.....there was no need for that...it was a sucker punch. Rafer should know better. DD
In my opinion the suspensions should be like this. Barnes and Alston 1 game. Steve Nash 2 games. Steve Nash is the guy who blew this whole thing way out of proportion. Alston and Barnes were just talking when Nash came in with his girly pushing.
All those dumb ass referees should go back to their basic training on controlling the game. Clearly PHX players were all frustrated after so many missed shots, and especially the dumb ass referee behind the play who suppose to see everything didn't do his job. The whole thing shouldn't have happen if the referee just call the hard push on Barner. Everybody is hoping a camera shot at artest. I'm just glad he's not on the court at that time.
Shouldnt shaq get suspended for a couple of games?? He was clearly pushing our guys with anger, it looked like he was trying to escalate it more than prevent anything else from happening..
Glad Rafer stood up for himself and SheMac backed him up. Shaq pushed Yao to the floor and he did absolutely zero. Yao's softer than tissue paper. At least SheMac got right back up into the fray. They were lucky Tru Warier was on the bench. The key was rafer's shooting and defense on Stoudemere. Rafer shoots well and we hold down the other teams PF we're going to get a W 70% of the time

The best part was right after Barnes hit Skip and Tmac looked over at Barnes and gave him a face that said "man, I'm gonna kick your ass" then he just J'ed the 3.
