For the people who think the plane could have possibly have been shot down by the government why didn't 1.)Somebody see the plane being shot? 2.)Where's the wreckage from that plane that was shot down, 3.)What did the people who were there see? They did see a plane. The reason there was footage, a lot of footage, of the WTC is because people were actually filming it since most people were tourist. A ton of news broadcasts were there, New York is basically the center of America. Also 2 building were knocked down, while only part of the Pentagon was knocked down, and it was knocked down LATER!
Come on, quit bashing the French. Americans make all sorts of worthless books bestsellers as well. Conspiracy theory books will always sell - some who buy will think that it is true, others will buy it because they think it is funny, and others buy it to see what all the fuss is about. In the end, all of this is meaningless and silly.
Once again I think that David Dukes book was on the best sellers list, does that make every american responsible for his views? It takes about 200,000 people buying a book to make it a best seller. Lets see there are over 6 million people in france and 200,000. . . mabey, people bought this book, yep all French are idiots. And Mabey, mabey people from other countries are buying this book. i agree that the book is lame and bunk but still dont place all the blame on a country for a few peoples actions.

How much flak would I get if I suggested blacks were cowardly, regardless of any purported historical precedent? I also think it quite amazing that a country that used to feel so indebted to France for all the help it offered now despises the hand that fed it. As for the conspiracy theory, such things usually sell and the purchase of it does not necessarily mean it is ascribed to. If the same theory was published by an American author, it'd make a bunch of money here too. And finally, if France as a nation did question the authenticity of the crash, what of it? Are you saying, "If France was really our friend, it would help our government in a huge cover-up."? The book does not even signify a lack of support of American policy or a lack of sympathy for the losses we've sustained.
If it wasn't for France's help, wouldn't have it been really hard for us to win the Revolutionary War?
Absolutely. We will always owe them a huge debt of gratitude for that, just as the French should always remember our sacrifices that led to their liberation from the Nazis.

Now back to the Pentagon theory I merely stated that from the video and from what we all saw in the public eye on film they showed no plane crashing only an explosion and I also stated that this could have been for non shock value because of the horrifying events. Anyone ever hear the saying your safer on a plane than in a car or a bus? well sorry but ill chose ground anyday over being up thousands of feet heading downward with no way of stopping. Now with all theories and explanations who do we blame for this and every other event that has been a tragedy. WE BLAME THE GOVERMENT AND THE LACK OF SECURITY THE US HAS. Here is the gray area of WWII. Did you know that it was a 50/50 split in france, and that more French killed French in World War II than Germans. WWII was more of a Civial war of Europe. One in which the US stepped in to help Brittan and 40-50% of the French. I am sure the French are now gratefull but back then half the country did not want any help from the US.
