I know there are a lot of folks from Hong Kong on this board. I'm planning to go to Hong Kong in Dec fro 5 days but not sure which hotel to stay. Any suggestions? Somewhere around 80-100 USD and near the MTR station.

Suggestions for places to go and eat would be great too.

    Thanks

Is there a specific area you want to stay in or are you talking about any MTR station?

Depends on where you want to stay. I've been there a few times, and stayed at the Grand Hyatt on the island a few times. It's right next to the convention center, and a short cab ride from Lan Kwai Fong and Wan Chai.

If you want a lower price point, you can try the Kowloon side, in Tsim Sha Tsui. The Shangri-La there is pretty nice as well, albeit a tad pricey.

I stayed there for 3 days 3 years ago, the room is very nice, but the bathroom is really average. They had shower-on-bath for my room, and I flooded the floor the first time I took a shower.
