i watched Dallas last week, and i saw the best kind of offensive basketbal (without a center) i have seen in a while. i saw how the rockets should play. I think there are two kinds of effective ofensive stategys.

1 (with a Center) How the rockets played in Olajuwons Prime, and how the Lakers are playing now, You have 1 verry dominant Post player. Give him the bal, let him make a move, and watch if someone double teams him, than pass it outside and there you have few good shooters.

2 (without a center). Have you'r best driver (Nash With Dallas, Steve or Mobley with us) drive trough the defense. then he can score or if he is double teamed pas to the open man, who can shoot.

if you can combine these two strategy's you have a great half court game.
Dallas have a team of shooters. everybody in that team can shoot the 3(even their C and PF). That is why they score so much(and ofcourse their uptempo type of play).
Spurs just have the first strategy.
But i think The lakers are the best offensive team. They have both of the offensive strategys. As Center Shaq and as Driver Bryant. and ofcourse the shooters. The only reasons dallas scores more is because they play more uptempo, and the opponents don't need so long against dallas to get a good shot, because dallas has not such a good D as The Lakers.
The Lakers are one of the best denfense Teams.
the lakers Will be champion this year.
