Any CF.net-ers have teams on Trophy Manager? If you don't know, it's a soccer simulator where you take control of a team and control all aspects of its management (stadium, training, scheduling, etc.) If there are, I'd like to schedule some friendlies to get my reserves some game experience. If there are, let me know your team name and your club ID#.
I'm gonna look into it...it sounds fun. I played Small Ball for a while and really got into it for a bit..but then fell off the map.
ditto. ive never been really into soccer but i do love simulators. heres the site (i think) just in case anyone else is interested. http://www.trophymanager.com/
I've been playing this for a while - actually signed up because of the original post - and am now wondering if there are others on Clutchfans that are in this game. It's highly addictive and truly one of the best sports sims I've ever played. http://trophymanager.com/klubhus.php?showclub=65173
Sorry for the big-time bump...but I'd really like to connect with any Clutchfans on TrophyManager and halfbreed's account doesn't accept PM's. Halfbreed, you there? I'm Vancouver FC in the Canadian ML... http://www.trophymanager.com/klubhus.php?showclub=65173&ref=65173
I'm here. I recently used up all my PRO days and haven't signed up for more yet. I'm still in a rebuilding mode. I'm in between my original roster and my first wave of YD pulls making it to the starting lineup. You seem to be doing fairly well in the ML. I had a rough season in Division 2 last year.
I've kinda been middle of the pack lately - need some work before I can win an ML title. Let's try and arrange a friendly - what team are you? Edit...as a bonus, I'm the National Coach for Trinidad and Tobago
Alief United - Currently in Division 3.2 in the US. Club ID = 37409. How is it being the national team coach? It's something I've considered doing in one of the "summer" seasons when I have extra time to devote.
Not really sure yet, just had my first friendly match (against USA). Looking forward to the World Cup qualifiers though. Thankfully, there's not too much pressure since the Trinidad and Tobago community is rather small...only 6 people voted in the election.
Yeah, I decided to suffer a few years of mediocrity while I build up a solid core of young players. All of the youth on my roster were rated at least an 11 or 12 which means that they'll either be solid subs or someone I can sell on the open market. It'll take about 4 or 5 seasons but I'll have a pretty good group of youngsters starting. I still have yet to draw a solid DC and I kept one that was rated as a 5 just because I was tired of having none on my roster. I'm having to play a lot of my players out of position but so long as I don't get relegated below the third division, I can stand poor team performance as a lot of my players will start their bloom fairly soon.
