I'm watching the Lakers vs Mavs, Kobe Bryant certainly is a best player in the NBA now, there is no Kobe stopper... Tmac aint Kobe for sure..

Why do people keep reiterating this? It's understood.

I can't believe that I'm actually rooting for the mavs to win. :(

If you just breath on Kobe he gets the whistle. Yao Ming just gets mugged every night while the refs watch.

Well Stackhouse played good defense on him in the end. (I only watched the end.

Why? Are Scola and Landry not getting the job done for you or something? Gasol is a pansy-ass who stopped trying in Memphis, then got lucky and got traded to the Lakers.

Gasol's a whiny little b****. Between him and Odom, the Lakers probably lead the league in estrogen.

But... but... but... T-Mac is such a good facilitator. That... umm... makes up for everything else... right? Right??

He's also much, much better than Kobe at playing ninja offense. He tries to become invisible on offense so the other team forgets about him. The only problem is he forgets to reappear. He needs to work on the last part.

Who have they played? Clippers twice, us, mavs, blazers, denver.
BD was hurt, Shane's out, Howard's out, oden was out, new Chauncey in denver.

Theyve had the benefit of a real cushy schedule, an advantage Houston sports teams rarely get. Theyre also cultivating a homecourt advantage very similar to playing in Utah.

Didn't they have to pump sound into staple's center during the playoffs? I remember reading their homecourt isn't very loud.

Lebron is better. Kobe can't handle physical defense as well as Lebron. Just look at the Celts and how ineffective Kobe was that series. It ended the whole Kobe is better than Jordan comparisons and killed it.

I think his style is more fluid whereas Lebron doesn't really have much finesse in his game. The finesse Lebron does have is overshadowed by his physique is all. Lebron pushed the Celts to 7 games with a chance to win in the final ticks. Kobe shot a poor % with superior talent and couldn't even reach a game 7. He got worked by Paul Pierce on both ends of the court.
