Right now i think that Scola is the player we can get best value for, so if you package scola with any 4-5 million dollars player i think you are able to get a better player than Charlie V. for sure.

Seth- I kinda agree with you, I'm looking at both teams healthy playing their besr ball. In that scenerio, just like in 94,95 vs seattle, the rox don't matchup. Odom and gasol are too much for us too handle. Now I can put sugar on it, but I like to be real about my team. Villanueva is the odom matchup guy. He's kinda a mirror image. That was the spurs problem last yr. He's too big for manu and finley and too agile and quick for duncan9berto or thomas. Aganst the rox, Battier,Ron or a healthy tracy could guard him, but neither of our 4's can. Also getting allen and elson gives us size and experience as both can back yao up and also back up the 4 spot. Elson has started on the spurs and nuggets due to injuries and that's also good to know..I don't want to be in the conf finals and play la and watch odom or gasol dominate the game because we couldn't matchup with them. All the while thinking we couldve possibly had answers.

Do you know Scola actually worth at least 600M?

so have a 1st rounder thrown in. I think leeb's point is less about getting the most value and more about getting the best fit for this team. in other words, we may be able to get a better 2 guard than 3/4/5 player for scola, but we really don't need that. considering the west matchups, I see his point. can you think of a better 6'10+ player we could get (aside from bargnani, whom I would also trade for)?

the only other possibility I can see right now is moving scola+ for a very good point guard. unfortunately, I don't see any available right now.

I agree with Seth, but you do bring up an interesting idea about trying to obtain a very good point guard for Scola plus if possible.I don't want to see Luis go,but I find it intriguing nevertheless. I wouldn't go for Bargnani because he is more of an outside shooter who doesn't rebound.

Charlie V has height and length, but he is soft IMO and plays like a poor man's Odom. We need length, height, quickness along with toughness, defense and rebounding.I don't see any way that we can get that without trading anyone out of the "big" 3. I would keep Scola instead of him.

Saleem, I'm watching La now and just don't see us matching up with their size and atheleticism without a move like this. Their flexibility is crazy along the front line. I know Villanueva is a poor mans odom, but I think playing with 3 guys who draw so much attention and beingable to let his talent flow would be a huge plus. Not only that, getting elson and allen, 2 vets that are long and mobile is huge also. When yao is out, our biggest player is scola who isn't that big abyway. I think it makes too much sense, but that's just me.

We're only 7 games into the season, and half a game out of first in our division. We're missing a key player, Battier, and have some new players still trying to get with the program. Our guys from last season are getting over being banged up and they're having to get used to playing with the acquisitions. Seems to me that the board is deep into a collective attack of schizophrenia, sure to be cured by a couple of wins where the team actually appears to know what it's doing. I'm not trying to pick on you at all, but isn't it early to seriously consider moves like this?

I always respect your opinion even when I disagree with you. Luis has his limitations but at least he can hustle.Charlie V is long and athletic but doesn't put much effort.Seems like fools gold to me.

Why would the Bucks want to give up Elson and Allen for Hayes and Head? Hayes,I can imagine for his rebounding, defense despite his short height and absence on offense but where will Head fit in on their club?
