The problem with T-Mac is he has enough stinker games over the course of the season to prevent us from getting a top seed in the playoffs. Then we matchup against a very good team like Utah, and we get eliminated in the first round. And, inevitably, this excuse is: "Well, we happened to be matched up against a really good team in the first round." Maybe if the Rockets took care of business like they're supposed to in the regular season, we'd finally have an easy first round matchup.

I like Fernandez and think he's legit, but he will never be considered a #1 option like T-Mac can be. Not to mention that he's a freaking rookie and you're already telling me that you'd rather have him than T-Mac.

Your last paragraph has "knee-jerk" written all over it. Tracy is hurt and with the flu, he probably isn't even 50%. Did you really expect him to be energetic out there? I don't know what he said that made you think the losses aren't a big deal, but they aren't a big deal anyway. It was game 7 out of 82. It's November. Were you hoping he'd cry or something? Of course he's disappointed at his play and the team's performance, regardless of what you think he's saying.

Maybe if Yao didn't bail out on the team last year, we WOULD'VE been a #1 seed. You can't possibly put the #4 seeding all on Tracy. The pundits thought we shouldn't have even made the playoffs after Yao went out, and you thought we should've been the #1 seed had T-Mac "played better"? That is ridiculous and you know it. It really is all T-Mac's fault.

Yao bailed out on the team? The guy was playing so many minutes his foot fell off.

And again, this isn't some knee-jerk reaction. These are concerns that have followed McGrady his entire career. It's like he goes out of his way to validate them, and it was old two years ago.

While TMac does have his share of crappy games, don't you think Yao being out for a ton of those made the difference the last two years? If Yao had played even half of those games each season, there is a good chance the Rockets would have had a higher seed.

TMac can't bring it every night, but wasn't the point of having more than one superstar to account for that?

By the way, Fernandez for McGrady is the dumbest thing I've read today. But it's still early.

    Ummm...no.

I think I would take a proven 20-30 ppg scorer to a flash in the pan Euro player.

McGrady's expiring contract is MUCH more valauable than a sixth man.

Dude..plz no more post from u..just shut up and sit down with these duma** trade proposals. Tmac always shuts us up at the end of the year with his play. Now that he has a good core around him, he can finally have heart to go out there and win it!

sure but not the rudy you're talking about, tmac and alston for lowry, rudy gay and darko, this solves our pg and big man problems. shot blocking 7 footer with shooting touch, a younger tmac and a 92% freethrow shooting pg with a good three point shot.problem solved even though the cap wont work but morey can figure it out

For TJack to score 20 now, he'd need to jack up about 25 shots a game on average. I guess he has the proven ability to shoot that often, so I guess you're right that he is a proven 20 ppg scorer.
