I tried to do a search on the forums but free to air only comes up on searches for the word free. It seems like a good deal because you can get a lot of channels but there has to be some sort of catch right? Channel line-up horrible? No HD? Illegal? What is it?
Are you talking about looking at HD without Cable but with your regular HDTV Tuner included in your TV which is "over-the-air" signals in which all you need is an AMPLIFIED "rabbit-ears" antenna... or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FTA_Receiver ? It's LEGAL to purchase.
LEGAL free-to-air satellite is pointless, I believe we are talking about the ILLEGAL kind in which you steal channels from Dish Network and so on.... Not worth it, it's a crime to try to capture channels that are not meant to be captured.
