I am on the hunt for some local WiFi Restaurants or Cafes?
Ideally I would like someplace that offers a quick somewhat healthy lunch.
I tried to do a web search but mostly came up with Coffee spots.
I am hoping someone can suggest something that may be under the tip of my nose.

Any of the Panera Bread locations should have wi-fi.

There's a place called Fioza that somewhat fits the bill. Their lunch selection is limited to sandwiches though, but they're tasty. The staff is friendly and it's a nice atmosphere. Free wi-fi!

I highly recommend Coffee Groundz at Bagby and McGowan right across from Spec's in Midtown. The owner, JR, is great. They have very good wraps and paninis and super fast wi fi. Very cool place.

Also, Antidote on Studewood and 8th is very cool - quiet and decent wraps. Onion Creek on White Oak is also good and has more food choices, but the wi fi doesn't run after 4pm.

For breakfast, try The Daily Grind on Washington Avenue between Shepherd and Heights or 59 Diner on Shepherd and 59.

Only problem with Panera is that some of them censor a lot of sites including sites like Flickr. Not all of them, but some do.

I saw some absolutely horrid reviews of Daily Grind on b4ueat.
It pretty much scared me from going there.

    Thanks for the input.

Just don't go for anything but breakfast. I know what they are saying and I don't go very often any more because it has gotten weird. It used to be a fantastic place, but it went downhill. I still think they have good breakfast food though, but I wouldn't go at other times.

    Thanks Jeff,
All the spots you recommended to me are very near so most likely I will try them.

When I want coffee, I usually hang out around Catalina, but they dont offer much for food.

Do any of the ones you mentioned offer soup?

Catalina is cool, but you are right, they don't really offer food. I don't know if any of them do offer soup or not. Hadn't really even thought to ask.

I think Coffee Groundz is the best of the bunch when it comes to cafes.

I did remember a couple others:

    Candelaria's on Washington at Wescott
They have UNREAL pizza and really good Italian food in general. Great wi fi as well. Very good place for lunch if you are going by yourself or for business.

Crickets Cafe and Creamery on 19th Street
It is an all vegetarian coffee shop/cafe, but they have very good salads, sandwiches, quiches, etc. They also have FANTASTIC soup - to me, the best potato soup around. Really good pastries and gelato as well. John, the owner, is a very nice guy. Their wi-fi can be a little sketchy at times - the only drawback.

In case you hadn't noticed, I tend to look for wi-fi places for lunch. :)

Great lunch buffet, but the wifi was non existent when I went there this week. Beats Doubledaves buffet for sure, and Cici's is trash compared to them.
