Damn I love that fool! 8-9 shooting at the end of third quarter for 17 pts!

    GO LANGHI!

It's amazing how intimidated he seems to get behind the 3-point line. He threw up a line drive brick on his only miss, which was a three, and looked lost back there. Yet, a couple of possessions later, he gets the ball a foot in front of the arch, and drains it.

Yep, and Cuttino did the same thing 2 minutes later, but no one talks about him bricking it.

All DL needs is some real time to get comfortable.

Exactly what I was thinking. He's got a sweet stroke but looks scared to take his shots just a foot back. He strokes 22 footers like nothin but won't dare put up a three. I thought that's what he was supposed to bring the Rockets- three-point shooting. He looked comfortable out there tonight and I just wonder if the Rockets think enough whether to keep him around. He could be instant offense off the bench and the zone rules will benefit him. I think he should atleast be our 10th man next year and get spot minutes whenever teams zone. He just needs to work on shooting from 23'9" and not 22. But a great game nonetheless.

Exactly francis 4 prez. Cuttino is a regular three-point shooter, DaDa. He has actually made threes before. I have never seen Langhi shoot a comfortable three...as a matter of fact, I barely recall him hitting the rim.

Dan is getting his "real" time now, and he made the best of it tonight. But, I guess we should bench Cat for the rest of the season so Langhi can get more "real time".

Shooter the 3 point shot is only 22 feet in the corners, and DL was 1-2...I don't mind him bricking one occasionally.

I think all Langhi needs is minutes, and he will contribute.

I also think he will leave, as he did not get a fair look from Rudy this year.

Guys my point is not that Cat CAN'T SHOOT, it is that people are more critical of Langhi and he has not had a chance to prove it one way or another.

Heck, everytime he plays extended minutes and gets in a flow, he contributes.

I think he could be a nice player, but needs time on the FLOOR to develop, he is only in his 2nd year, it is not like he still can't improve.

    I agree with DADA.

Go Langhi!!! I think he will get more comfortable with 3 pointers as well once he gets more Pt.

Being a Vandy guy I love what I'm seeing.

Just give Langhi some playing time with first liners instead of garbage time. As he gets comfortable he will contribute. You saw tonite what a pure shooter he can be. And his defense was decent.

But I agree with DD that he'll leave after this year - and it wouldn't surprise me to see him flourish in another system. Hope Rudy gives him a fair shake down the stretch.

You've got to show something in garbage minutes before you get a chance during the rest of the game. Langhi really has never shown a whole lot in garbage minutes, other than his leaping ability. He's lucky he's getting this chance now, or else he probably wouldn't have a job anywhere in the NBA next year. He should be somewhat comfortable after almost two years in the league, but he still looks like it's his first game nearly every time he gets out there. Though tonight, I have to admit, he played a good game.

The truth about Langhi is that he is not comfortable in the Rockets offense. He is more suited to a motion type of game, where people share the ball. If he was in Sacremento or Seattle or somewhere with a true PG he would flourish.

Too many players on the Rockets stand around and watch our guards dribble, and that is not conducive to a lot of players games.

Some like Walt and Bull and Elie are spot up shooters, others get in a better flow while moving without the ball...Langhi is like that and so is Torres, hopefully the Rocks will ALL get better at that too.

i think Langhi just got himself a job tonight for next season, though not sure with which team. He would've gone onto the "thrown out draft picks" pile.

With Langhi playing like this we don't need Dunleavy. Not that we needed Dunleavy to begin with.

i don't think langhi playing half a game of good basketball equates to us having our small forward spot solved. there's a reason why everyone went nuts about his play, because it doesn't happen often or ever. i hope he does start nailing jumpers consistently but i'd still jump at the chance to nab a dunleavy.
