SA and Utah are one-trick ponies...the spurs have been the best team of the last decade. there is no comparison.

dallas couldn't give tickets away when their team was meaningless...i was there...seriously, couldn't give them away. cleveland before lebron??

the lakers are the yankees of the nba.

we've had a winning team....that hasn't won a playoff series in forever...and we have the 3rd highest ticket prices over that span. i think people on this board drastically overstate just how interesting the rockets have been since 1997.

bottom line was....he asked who buys tickets for teams that don't win...the answer to that question is houston texans and houston astros fans.

I thought we wanted a 3rd but they were offering something lower and we balked.

Rosenfels has a deer in the headlights look.

Well those fans are dumb then. I would even bother using my paycheck to see the Texans play.

Technically another turnover. At least it wasn't a pick.

Either way, should have taken the offer.

This is the result of McNair putting his team in the hands of the wrong people. Both Shaub and Rosenfels are backup QBs at best. His no hands-on approach needs to change. I'm not asking him to be Mark Cuban but he needs to stop the no accountability the people he put in charge have enjoyed. I think he needs to hire a real NFL coaching staff.

So I was wondering ... did someone forget to tell Sage that they were wearing white jerseys today or something?

Because -- seeing those interceptions, all I could do was laugh. On at least two of them there wasn't even a receiver to be found in the same zip code as the ball. Man, even a college quarterback would be benched for a performance like this one.

"Start Sage! Start Sage! We want Sage! We want Sage!"

Well, we *got* Sage. Rosenfumble tries something new and morphs into Rosenpick.

I want to freaking throw up.

All this defensive talent, no defensive balls.

And then, of course Santa Rosenfumble gifting the opposition with multiple extra possessions.

Richard Smith SUCKS. Sage Rosenpick SUCKS.

You hear that, Swoly? They SUCK.

Good football teams don't do the kind of ridiculous crap we saw today. If the past few weeks were "baby steps", today was a freaking nose dive towards step one. It wasn't a great team or even an above average team that kicked the Texans' collective asses today, it was a mediocre team.

Yeah, that's all these sanctimonious, holier-than-thou idiots who scream "TRUE FAN!!!!!!11!" and expect everybody to fall in line and be excited about pathetically coached, pathetically executed football week after week. Hey, I'm a "TRUE FAN!!!!11" because I'm here, after all this incompetence, still watching on the edge of my seat hoping the Texans won't come out and vacuum all the air out of Houston with one big SUCK.

What's Elvis Grbac doing nowadays? What is he, like 50? He can't be any worse. How about Vinny Testaverde?

Sage sucked, hire either Wade Phillips or the Cleveland coach for D coordinator after one of the two will be fired this year. Draft Defense like a mad man in the draft.

Glad I picked up an 18 pack of Shiner instead of the 12 pack. That Indy game has crushed Sage for this year.

In the entire history of the NFL I think it is pretty well established that bad football teams rarely win more games than they lose.

This is a bad team. During the off-season I was thinking how are they going to fill all of their holes... they only need, 3 starting defensive backs, 1 starting linebacker, 3 starting defensive linemen, 3 offensive linemen, a good running back, 1 receiver...

and now we find out we might need to add QB to the list.

If people want to say that Schaub isn't the Texans' future qb, I have no problem with that. But if there are still people out there who still believe that Sage is still better than Matt, then we might possibly have one of the stupidest fan bases in the entire league.

If things don't turn around, Mcnair & Smith might be forced to draft a QB in the 1st or second round. At least BAL and ATL give some hope that a team doesn't have to automatically suck with a rookie qb.

Listened to most of the game on the radio as I drove home to Austin from The Woodlands. Glad it wasn't televised here for me to go back and watch. There is no question now that Sage RosenFAIL is nothing but a career backup. It's almost a shame they didn't take that pick Minny was offering. What's the worst that would have happened? Another career backup would be choking?

I ignored all of the "fire Richard Smith" stuff before. It's pretty clear now. He's just not the right guy. If Kubiak gets to keep his job, it's going to have to include firing Smith and the rest of the defensive staff. Marvin Lewis is most likely on his way out of Cincy. Make him a good deal to come here and take over the defense.

After Baltimore drove down the field and scored at the start of the 3rd quarter, I ever so gently handed the remote to my wife and started cleaning out the attic.

    She almost fainted.

I am completely at peace with the fact that the Texans blow chunks.

What time do the Rockets start?
