Yeah this game will be Yao's to dominate.. Phil doesn't like to double down on Yao and they won't be fronting him.. we need to rebound though... it'll be a good game.. Rox by 8 ;)

Wasn't it one game against the Lakers last year where Rafer scored like 30 points and made like 8 3s. We need him to do that again and for Phil not to front/double Yao then we may have a chance.

The Rockets game plan will be simple, go to yao early! But everyone knows this! So expect 3 TOs in the first few minutes!

doubt we'll see this kind of showdown b/t tracy v. kobe, when both at their best

Lakers player are bigger.. don't know how Rocket will defend them, w/o battier surely artest will be on Kobe..how about Gasol, Bynum, Lamar? They all are good..hopefully Rocket is on fire and could exchange shots with them.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get blown out by the fakers unless our big 3 step up to net at least 20 pts apiece. I hope that the transitional defense will be back and stop playing sluggish and sloppy basketball . Just hammer the fakers by 10.
    Lets roll rox

I think it's good Battier is not healthy, let's see what Artest & T-mac can do to stop Kobe. Then next game when Battier's there, we can see the difference.

so many a pessimistic. when the vast majority have fear, it's the time to buy in the market. one of my stock trading principles. i'm gonna apply it here to this game.

    rockets win. 103-95.

hope yao rebounds well tonight. i don't know how he's gonna rebound against a strong andrew bynum or even against pau. if he's more aggressive in rebounding and defense, then we can stay close with the lakers. let's get a win here guys. GO ROCKETS!!

Well everything ive been reading suggests that the rockets players know they are not playing up to expectations.

This is a matchup that had me talking all summer about personell. Barry can't guard anyone of their guards off the bench. From kobe to sasha to ariza. All are too big, quick or atheletic. None of our 4's can handle gasol. He's a kg/lm clone type. He's too long and atheletic for scola. Hayes probably could do a good job on him, but he kills the offense. Bynum will cancel yao out the way he's playing and we have no one other than tracy or artest that can handle odom. Once he moves to the 4 and gasol slides over, its a huge mismatch. If they rebound and defend, they can stay in it, but this is a signature game for La.
