time to end the timmy era this year. maybe they will let all their big three sit out for the entire season and get the #1 pick next summer. lol.
I heard Popovich on ESPN say 2-4 weeks. They may have been able to survive one of their Big 3 going down, but 2 will be too much. They are praying that Parker misses no more than 2 weeks or they may dig themselves too deep.
We all know he can act <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/MTdERYOtqsg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/MTdERYOtqsg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Yea, that 5th foul on Scola was a joke. If they didn't see Davis cut in front of Scola, they shouldn't call the foul. My guess is they just saw Davis fall and blew the whistle. It should have actually been a foul on Davis.
Dumbest question I've heard in a while... Reporter: Will anything change with Parker out? Popovich: Are you serious with that question?...[extended and uncomfortable silence while Popovich stares the reporter down]... Yes, things will change. /interview Must've been a noob reporter.
on the other hand, that was a shrewd vet move by davis. someone is hot on the other team, produce a foul and make him sit.
Not a dirty play where somebody could get hurt. Cutting across a guy like that is lame. Take a charge or make a good defensive play and maybe that would be shrewd.
Kaman had a slightly better game but Yao definitely showed more intensity tonight, only in spurts though. He needs to turn those spurts into entire games. You could see on a few plays that Kaman was scared to go one-on-one with Yao.
He only blocked Kaman once or twice. The other 3 or 4 were against other players. Yao had a good game, not a great game. Kaman was better, imo. He outrebounded and outscored Yao. He also committed half as many turnovers in more minutes and shot more efficiently.
2,0,3,3,2,3 These are the number of times Yao get blocked by opponents in the first 6 games. Beside the Mavs game where he dominated, Yao get blocked averaged TWICE per game. If you add it the fact he get blocked by the rim twice, yao actually get blocked 15 times in just six games! I predict Bynum will block Yao once and Gasol twice the next game! The first SIX games, Yao get dominated by Kaman and Perkins and having problems against the likes of M. Gasol, Petro and Pryzbilla. I don't care how many times Yao dominated Dwight Howard but Yao should never considered as the Best Center in the League! Sad but true! The Good news, is we are our still in the month of November. Hopefully Yao can still get better and round into his former form! It has been proven, without Yao dominance in the middle there is no way the Rockets gonna contending the TITLE!
we won, that's all that matters. some of you guys just cannot be satisfied. i respect that it's your right as a fan to gripe, but c'mon man look at our team 3 years ago and compare it to the lineup now the way this team has progressed in recent years is something to be proud of as a fan. you cannot expect a team with so many changes every offseason to be fully acclimated with each other. it takes time people. rewards will come to those who wait.
1,1,0,2... number of times Bynum was rejected in the 1st 4 games, while playing far less minutes. 4,1,2,2,0... number of times D. Howard was rejected in the 1st 5 games, playing similar minutes to Yao. The point: All big men get blocked a lot. They play around the basket. It's just the nature of that part of the game.
