Can someone please explain these things to me? My son wants these for Christmas, but I don't know what the hell they are.
Ummm, judging by the stuff I looked up on google, I think it's a lot like Pokemon, or any of those other kid/anime/card games. Only there are marbles involved too...
Its like pokemon but there are also these little sphere creatures that are magnatized and spring open when the cards are laid out to battle. I've only seen the neighborhood kids playing on the corner before school. Looked like to me they were playing dice but upon further inspection I discovered Bakugan and now my son and daughter want them also. Target sells out as quickly as they get them in so you better pick them up when you see them.
like meg mentioned...looks like a pokeman style game. get your son some pickup sticks and call it a day
my oldest son recently decided these were the coolest thing in the world, but doesn't care about the game, only the cheasy transformer like action figures that can he can play with. I would do a little verification with your son first. I think some kids are bringing the toys to school and they like that aspect more than the pokeman game ripoff.
I don't see the fascination, but my daughter likes those PokéMon thingies and she might know the Yugi-Oh ones, too... I'll ask about the BaKuGan ones... maybe it's just for an older crowd?
