Thats been tmacs numbers in the last three games. not bad for a one legged crippled. :D . offensivley he is a freak of nature. as impressive 25 points 7 boards 5 assists a game is in that span, the most impressive factors is his amazing improvement at the line. how can a 65% free throw shooter improve so much? he is also getting to the line two more times then what he did last season.

Look at his overrall numbers and notice the graduall improvement.

    Game 1 16 points 5 assissts 2 boards on 7-18 38% FT 1-3
    Game 2 16 points 7 assists 5 boards on 3-10 30% FT 10-11
    Game 3 22 points 5 assists 7 boards on 6-15 40% FT 9-10
    Game 4 26 points 6 assists 2 boards on 9-18 50% FT 7-8
    Game 5 30 points 8 assists 7 boards on 11-23 47%FT 8-10

We all knew tmacs knee needed time, so as we are seeing, he is getting better on offense, so hopefully his defense is next

this is definitely a good trend, i hope it continues.

i'm not gonna hold out any hope on his defense, though.

His D will improve as his knee gets better. as feigan put it in the preseason, tmac will be tmac around 10 to 15 games into the season.

His free throw has been improved a lot, but the number of free thorws he has has evidently decreased.

Agree, Tmac looks much better than I expected with all the injuries he's got, espcially attacking the basket. But still it is a small sample. Our offense gotta to be more efficient, can't see Yao, Ron and Tmac go one on one all nit. The offense is lagging movement right now especially the starting unit, really want to see what happens when Battier comes back. I would rather see Tmac trying to carry this team later in the year when he's "100%" .

Tmac senses that yao and artest are struggling so he is becoming more aggrassive. once yao gets his game back, i expect tmac to take a step back.

you made a mistake I belive. he is getting to the line around 8 times a game. unbelivebla for him. I mean he should have done it in past seasons but he wasn't able to knock them down. How he is getting there and making them with confidence

Looking at those numbers, it tells me how much pain and that knee and shoulder was effecting him. last year statistic was his worst year as a rocket and probaly the worst in his career. that knee and shoulder injury must have been far worse then we aticipated.

I agree, he looks really promising on offense. I think once he is 100%, his defense will improve...of course he won't be an Artest or a Battier; but seeing as both of those guys play on the rockets, we really don't need him to be. :p

McGrady has fixed the poor mechanics on his FT shooting from last year. He is now going into a semi-crouch at the FT line that allows his shot to come from leg lift as opposed to arm motion and wrist flick. If he keeps bending the knees and using his base properly, he'll be an 85%er for the year.

this year's team free shrow nearly 90%, a good start.

Hve Yao and Barry spent all their engergy on teaching their teammates how to do free thow better? :D

Good to see... Despite all his injuries (back, shoulder, knee), despite all the criticism.. despite other superstars failing.. T-Mac comes up with such great numbers... he is not kobe.. but he is a def superstar.. i think we would have lost by 20 pts tonight if he hadnt stepped up his game...

Btw... he manages to play atleast 70 games a season and he hasnt missed a single playoff game (though only 1st round) ... also.. like all other greats.. he steps up big time during the playoffs...

his D can only improve... he already started showing signs in yesterday's game (forget the last play.. see the match again.. u will realize)

So I think we need to start showing him a lil bit of love and a LOT OF RESPECT!

go to hell u t-mac haters! u guys suck..

    Dude, who cares?

The Rockets just dropped two in a row, the offense looks like garbage, and you want to come in here and pound your chest with this crap?

    What's your problem?

Is it just me or did Tmac tweak his FT form a little bit? It looks like he's bending his knees a tiny bit more thus giving him a little bit more arch. This is evident by not only a lot more clean makes but the ones that do hit the rim... he gets a better roll thus the increase in the chance of the ball going = the higher FT % .

TMAC played bad, we are 3:0

TMAC played well, we are 0:2.

I want TMAC to take a break to let us win tonight.
