Agreed T-mac shouldn't have been on Roy in the 1st place.

Rick made some questionable decisions in the 2nd half of this game.

Once they call a timeout the ball goes back to the halfcourt line

That was the game that probably cost us Brandon Roy.

It makes me know that many things could be done during 0.8 seconds...pick the ball, turn, jump and shoot..... incredible

Honestly, we didn't do well tonight

He had to cover the basket incase of a cut to the basket... With Yao guarding the ball, whos protecting the hoop????

THINK ABOUT IT. The play was designed that if Roy came out that Artest would switch out which he was.

1st rule of defense.... keep yourself btw your man and the basket. We lost on a lucky 32 foot jump shot that has less than 10% probablility of going in.

Damn..... that Brandon Roy shot hurt, but I respect Roy for it.

Thought we had it after that Yao shot...... oh, well.... it's only one game....

Yao is Sucking right now, he is not playing hard and seems to have lost confidence, he is playing small.....he needs to man up.

If we won, we might ignore the problems..... Now it's time to fix them.

Portland's for real, no doubt about it. They played great against Utah and should've won that one and they clearly deserved this one.

    Positives:
    Rafer hitting shots
    Yao's clutch shot
    FTs & threes

    Negatives:
List would be too long but it comes down to this: something needs to change fast

Maybe you weren't paying attention, but once Adelman subbed Hayes for Scola, Aldridge was nearly shut down other than a couple of fouls. Scola was getting abused play after play by Aldridge. I don't think he scored a single bucket vs. Hayes in the post. Contrast that to Scola who Aldrige was shooting over like he wasn't even there.

That was a very smart decision by Adelman, and it paid off until Chuck finally fouled out.

bah, the rockets are losing because the starting 5 haven't practiced enough together. eventually this will all go away but not before we probably lose 5 of the next 6. Thank the r****ded NBA schedule makers for that.

this game points out our biggest flaws.....interior d/rebounding, and Yao's mental breakdown/inconsistency

we cannot let teams get to the basket at will, or allow them to get second chance opportunities so easily, I also think Yao and scola are both very poor interior defenders, secondly Yao is going through a regression to his rookie year, being turnover prone, and missing wide open looks, aside from the clutch and 1, if yao continues to play poorly we will be eliminated again in the first round

Uh no, LA was shooting 80% on Scola.

cannot excuse tracy on that play. his defense has been beyond terrible in ALL 5 games. even my grandmother can play better defense than tracy right now.

but bad rebounding is really a sad sight to see right now. battier isn't gonna solve rebounding. he might solve defense, but not rebounding. either yao learns the fundamentals of boxing out and jump, or we sign deke, rebounding is going to be our achilles heel.

and stop wildin' on ron's defense. we brought him here for his defense yes, but more for his offense. when battier returns, we'll be fine defensively. but if artest continues to lay bricks like rafer, our team remains in the same position as it has been.

i thought artest can create his own shot on the perimeter; he clearly cannot.

T-Mac scored or assisted on 17 of our last 27pts...you simply cannot blame this loss on him.

Oh...and with T-Mac's subpar defense the entire year, why wasn't Artest assigned Roy?
