disappointing, the game was not lost in the last second.

it was lost in the rebounding.

From low to high to really low.

    It's definitely a rollercoaster.

They (POR) deserved it. We played like p***y for 40 mins and we finished in the same way with McGrady sleeping on Roy's possession. Wonder where our defense actually is.

Roy's shot isn't the first time tonight where Portland miraculously got extra time on their possession by a late clock start. There's definitely something going on. Maybe they shouldn't have local guys keeping time.

Then again, the game should have never gotten to this point. Adelman's vaunted offense is non-existent and we have no defense to boot because he doesn't give a hoot about D. We really just suck right now and it's a one man show w/ Tmac carrying us night after night. RonRon's MIA and Yao is a worthless waste of space.

Although technically Roy had more than point eight seconds to make his shot, the NBA does usually do that anyways, start the clock when the clock guy sees the ball in possession by a player, so there's usually some sort of small delay because it takes time for the human brain to process what the eye sees, especially for dramatic buzzer beaters. And for those who blame the stopped clock earlier, well Yao probably wouldn't have been able to get his shot off had those seconds been run.

All in all, we played poorly enough to deserve a loss. So it was fair. It was an exciting finish, but we deserved the L tonight.

Now we are 3-2. We must work harder to get a good position.

Thanks Tmac for not covering your man and giving him a wide open look. .....unbelievable...snatching defeat from the jaws of victory by sheer laziness.

Bad loss, but the alarming factors are there. despite that last shot, yao is not pulling his way. artest is the same. those two need to start playing up to there potential

Say what you will, but that last play is on Tmac. Tmac made no effort to defend that play. Not to mention the Rockets had no business even being in overtime with the Blazers.

Same old story with the Rockets, nothings changed, they have no killer instinct. None. Yao and Tmac have no killer desire to win. Yao may have it, but it doesn't translate to his actions on the floor.

Same old story with the Rockets, they will win their 50 games, but that's all I see for this team.

    we didn't lose b/c of roy's shot.

    rebounding: portland 48; houston 36
off. rebounding: portland 16; houston 5

that's where we lost. they took 11 more shots that us b/c of that rebounding discrepancy.
