Seriously. Anyone is better than Rafer, I would take the risk and Marbury seems like he wants to change his rep like Artest.

maybe thats whats needed. Someone to challenge rafer for the starting spot.
Last year, he played well, as he played every game as if his last. With Mike James breathing down his neck, and then Bobby Jackson.

If the rockets are willing to sign him, he probably will agree to be bought out at 80%-90% of his salary.

Hell noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Marbury is a street ballhog and would not mesh with this team. How about starting aaron brooks? I think he is going to be a solid point gaurd for a long time....

Once he becomes a problem (which he will its only a matter of time) they will have no other choice but to cut him.

He might be a better player than Alston but it still dosn't mean you bring him on your team. This guy is a head case & I'd pass on him even if he wanted to play for free.

that's because you did not spend your millions of $$$ on Yao-TMAC-Artest. You dont need to care win or lose.

If I am the boss, I would take any chance to get a better PG for the sake of my $70M investment.

Somebody said Kidd ruined Mavs. Now lets think about Rafer running at PG.

Dont you fear that your $70M is going to be wasted by him?

let me get this straight, ur a gm and you are approached by one of the most talented point guards in the world who wants to play for ur team for free, and u will turn him down??? that is one of the dumbest statements i think i have read today.

really guys, if he becomes a problem, who cares u got him for cheap, just cut him or trade away his one year contract w/ the player option we will give him.

in perspective, if there is a buy out and we pick him up, he will be in the same position steve is in, playing for a new contract. dont think of it as pickin up a headcase, think of it as picking up a point guard that will actually contribute to our team, something that steve was brought here to do and hasnt done so thus far.

I 'll never sign marbury even if he was dirt cheap, because I would rather sign a piece of dirt.

I can tell you're really fed up with Alston. As I am too the way hes playing right now I'll take almost any PG in the leauge over him.

if rafer has another horrible shooting game i will go and find DM myself and force him to get marbury in a rockets uniform i dont see what the problem is if you get a 20 and a 8 guy for cheap u gotta be an idiot not to take the chance just cut his ass if hes cancer like tons of people have already said. A lot of people said the same exact thing about artest so stfu already and get us a new pg who can actually shoot it doesn't even have to be marbury steve blake sounds just fine
