watching all of those, brian williams of NBC had far and away the best call of the night: "there will be young children in the white house for the first time since the kennedy generation. an african american has broken the barrier as old as the republic."
cool link i saw the cnn call i clapped when i saw it. it was during the crucial time of the rockets game but luckily it was during a timeout. i remember turning to fox news a bit later and seeing chris wallace begrudingly talk about obama saying how its "weird to see a name and face like his and the words president-elect" then fox news maybe 2-3 minutes after the obama call stopped the obama coverage announcing the louisiana senate winner? (i think the one where musgrove lost) because now the dems would have a fillibuster proof senate. and they were all happy. (actually i am glad the dems do not have a fillibuster proof senate that would be way too much power to be given to one party imo)
Did you even watch the FOX call in this thread? It was actually very reflective and fitting, I thought.

I especially loved the "shocked" attitude of the guys reporting at CNN (esp. the Roland guy).

I since I felt like Americans’ suffered for 8 long hard years under republican white house rule. I felt like we had taken out country back from the evil empire.
