    OMFG!!!

Ahmad Rashaad said "Perkins bamboozled Yao Ming" !!

When Ahmad said you sucked, this is a new low.

Why don't we play brooks for the end of this game. The ball movement flows much better when he's in the game. Boston just plays off of Rafer the whole game and he goes 1-6 fg's and 0-4 3's. I wonder why we like to play 4 on 5 at the end of games.

Yao was bad but the difference was rebounding (off and def) and interior defense.

If Yao had just an average game, we overcome those issues but they were still the biggest problems, imo.

A couple of reasons for losing the rebounding battle and having the weaker interior defense are our relative lack of foot speed (frontcourt and backcourt) and frontcourt length.

Either way, 4th game of the season. A long way to go.

we held our own in a hard fought game.

we have a long way to go but there are plenty of positives to take from this game.

If we have Yao going and Shane back we would have won this game, IMO.

I'm not upset at all. We are still learning and are going to be a great team.

Yao played like a pansy. he lost his confidence after he got his shot blocked 3 times, and it showed. Adelman jacked it up by putting his starters in with 6 min to go. The energy intensity level was not there. I would have left the reserves in and maybe just substituted Tmac in. What did Yao do other than dive on the floor? He didnt rebound.

close game despite horrible shooting from Yao, Ronron, and rafer.

It's gonna take a little while for our team to gel.

This loss falls squarely on Yao's shoulders, is right.

However, this is just ONE LOSS vs. the defending champs! Seriously guys, as bad as Yao and Rafer were today, everyone has a bad day!

Yao will come back and destroy next game.

KG talks trash and no tech. Rafer talks some, and gets T'd up.

That point hurt too much in the end. It kept it a two possession game.

everyone has a bad game now and then. take it easy. with today's Yao and absence of batman we still within 2 positions. I can live with it.

yao was awful, must still have the flu.

And in related news, richard justice has written in his article that the rockets should go ahead and tank the year after this loss. :p

    yao looked terrible. extremely sluggish.

BUT CMON PEOPLE DID YOU REALLY THINK WE'D WIN TODAY? or against the lakers or the hornets for that matter with the current state of the team? homerism aside, this team is not healthy yet. give it time, i'll wait as long as it takes for a championship. i'm willing to sacrifice games for the betterment of the team. this is a good lesson for the rockets, we're not an elite team.

we will see how good this team can be after the all star break assuming everyone will be healthy by then.
