For some reason, I'm not worried. The Eagles play the Giants next week though and their game needs to be 100% better than what they're doing against the Seahawks.
at least your team actually scored a point today. I would have booed the ****ing Raiders off the field if I was at the Mac today.
I wanna say I feel for ya.....but you're a Raiders fan....so I hope you suck forever. die a slow death my friend. I feel for ya man......
My fandom is what is dying a slow death. 77 total yards. 77. -2 at the half. This is worse than the Art Shell fiasco. I don't even know what to do anymore, thank God i moved to a state where the Raiders would never be on TV.
All I gotta say is the Giants oline is damn good. Also the dallas pass rush is hella over-rated. The whole d really, but esp the pass rush. I'm not really sure if it's the players or the coaching, but i'm leaning more towards the coaching.
Lot of games need to be played, but this what the playoff picture would look like if they started today. NYG (6-1) 1st round bye Carolina (6-2) 1st round bye Arizona (5-3) NFC west division winner Chicago (5-3) NFC Central division winner Washington (6-2) Tampa Bay (6-3) Missing the playoffs (6 teams who are at least or above .500) Dallas (5-3) Philadelphia (5-3) Atlanta (5-3) Green Bay (4-4) Minnesota (4-4) New Orleans (4-4) Tennessee (8-0) 1st Round Bye and Homefield through playoffs Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) 1st Round Bye New England (5-2) ?????, they could be in 3 way tie after tonight Denver (4-4) AFC West Division Winner Baltimore (5-3) NYJ (5-3) Missing the playoffs: Buffalo (5-3) would lose, because of their division record Miami (4-4) last place in AFC East Indy (3-4), currently in 2nd place AFC South San Diego (3-5), currently in 2nd place AFC West, but are only one game out of 1st place Jacksonville (3-5), another lost might do them in...
4 sacks is overrated? the D, and the team as a whole, was given far too much credit before anything was proven... i like to blame the game plan, which means the coaches.
Raiders looking to release a number of players, including CB Hall as soon as Wednesday. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3683124 Angered by the Oakland Raiders' 2-6 start, team owner Al Davis asked his front office staff to explore the possibility of releasing several players, including cornerback DeAngelo Hall, according to multiple sources. The process started on Monday, a day after the Raiders' embarrassing 24-0 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Davis, looking ahead to rest of the season and to 2009, asked his staff to study a list of potential players who could be let go before the end of the week or after the season, sources said. One source said the list included more than a dozen names. The Raiders' front-office staff studied the cap consequences of releasing high-priced veteran players. He also wanted his staff to see if other teams might claim any of these players on waivers. The team was planning on making the move to release Hall on Tuesday before holding off, according to NFL.com. The Raiders have paid Hall $8 million for eight games, and also gave Atlanta a second-round pick for his services. NFL.com reported the move to waive him now helps the Raiders avoid paying Hall $16 million worth of injury-guaranteed bonuses in his contract. Hall has 48 tackles and three interceptions for the Raiders, including a season-high eight tackles last week against the Falcons. Hall isn't the only Raider under consideration for release. Wide receiver Javon Walker received an $11 million signing bonus and a $1 million base salary this year, but he has only 13 catches in his first seven games with the Raiders. The other players on Davis' list are unknown. At his Monday press conference, interim Raiders coach Tom Cable said he was thinking of making more changes in the starting lineup. Since taking over for Lane Kiffin, Cable has benched wide receiver Ronald Curry and safety Michael Huff. If Davis gets his way, some changes might be permanent.
THEY DON'T HAVE ANYBODY TO REPLACE THE HIGH PRICED HAS-BEENS WITH BECAUSE DAVIS WOULDN'T BRING ANYBODY IN TO COMPETE DURING TRAINING CAMP. My god. Davis is senile. I mean its not even a joke anymore, he's Mr. ****ing Burns. He's friggin loco in the cabesa. I don't even know how to feel about this anymore. I've never seen a team in this much deep ****. I want to be a loyal fan, but I just can't get behind a team that is run by a guy with no common sense. I'm getting more and more amazed that Lane Kiffin got 5 wins out of this team in his time here.
I was waiting for your response moes. I can see where your frustrations and those of all Raider fans come from. I don't know what to make of this whole debacle of an organization. It's confusing, sad, frustrating and whole bunch of other adjectives that describe bad situations.
