Haha I'll respect your opinion. I wouldn't call Dwight the best center, but for sure, he's more dominant than Yao if you're going to think of 'Shaq-kind of dominant'. You don't have to be dominant to be the best though IMO.

but right now? yao is much better than Dwight, yao has only miss 3 game at first 3 season, you never know what's going happen to dwight. dwight is better rebounder for sure, but yao's offense is way much better than dwight.
untill dwight develop into not only a dunker, he never better than yao

Yao's a better skilled player than Dwight but I'd take Dwight right now simply because he is healthier.

but of cos there's also the fact that Howard plays in the east.

Anyway, i remember few years ago, Erica Dampier claiming himself to be the best center in the league....go figure. I dont really care if Yao is the best center in the league or not, if people wanna say Howard is the best, its fine with me, what i want is for Yao to win a Championship for the Rockets!! I hope Yao continue to improve his game, he looks better than ever in this past 2 games.
