If you want to see a future superstar in his 2nd NBA game, tune into Bulls vs. Celts and observe Derrick Rose. This guy is going to be special. Otherwise it's a terrible game as the Celts are toying with the Bulls. Another observation: Tyrus Thomas is a complete bust. Not only does he still have no offensive game, he STILL doesn't hustle back on defense. He has perfected the art of being lazy while on the court. He just threw up an idiotic shot from straightaway and didn't even try to get back while the Celts ran past him for a fast break. At the moment Thomas is 1/9 from the floor.
Thomas is now 1/15. What a train wreck. Meanwhile, Rose gets hit for a bogus charging foul and will have to come out of the game. Some of his finishes have been spectacular. He just needs a real coach and a real team to play with.
luther head steve francis and cash for Ben Gordon Bulls will realize they can't get anyone they want for Ben Gordon, will just take expiring contract and another small contract. We get a one year rental in Gordon and also for the playoffs, he'll ask too much in the open market won't resign him but we are freed of 2 roster spots yeah I know, won't happen but just wondering aloud in this crappy game

The Grizzlies are doing to the Magic what they did to the Rockets on Wednesday. Wonder if they can finish this time. The Magic just aren't that good. They definitely won't finish in the top 4 in the Eastern Conference.

2-17 Final. He's on my fantasy team. I was ecstatic when he had the starting job and played 42 minutes last game and now... An one man FG wreck ball. Even Amare and Al Jeff COMBINED couldn't make up for that performance. Shame on you, Tyrus. Shame on you.
I say the Spurs will win. The Blazers are going to have a rough start just like last year before they finally get it together. Their early schedule is sadistic and they have too many new parts to blend in.

Tell you what: The Spurs don't look like they have enough bullets without Manu. Even when he gets back, they still won't be a top 4 team in the West. I still think they win this game though. Batum is showing some nice ability. He may be the (future) missing piece at SF the Blazers are waiting for. He's got great length and athleticism.
You needed a buzzer beater to beat the lowly Magic who'll suck this year... I can only imagine the threads about Batum if he starts blowing up this year. Rockets fans are full of second guessing buyer remorse types.
