i just watched the video again and Dirk gave yao an elbow, then stayed behind his teammates like he didn't do anything(he was the biggest guy out there for the mavs), Dirk should have gotten a technical foul.

I don't necessarily agree with what the guy said but you have completely missed his point. The "America hating" is not about Yao, America or China. He was referring to Josh Howard's disrespectful rant about the national anthem in the summer.

I totally agree with you. Josh Howard is a dirty player. The tech was total BS as well.

I'm sure Rocket's managment is on the horn with the NBA to get some kind of suspension for Howard.

What he did was deplorable, Yao could have seriously been hurt.

If the NBA cares about player's safety, then there is no doubt J-Ho will be suspended.

Hopefully they will also review Ron's Tech and not hold that against him.

I'm chomping at the bits to see the next game between Dallas and Houston - I can't wait for J-Ho's clownshoes to get body slammed.

all true except that Yao didn't "Elbow" him... he grabbed his arm, Yao tries to break free, and because of that, he goes further by hitting Yao's elbow with his chin. What a cheap punk baby. Smoke whatever you want, show everyone you're an idiot by saying you won't "celebrate" the anthem in your own country because of your race, but keep jacking with Yao and things are going to get back to you. We finally have a team that will do it... and it doesn't have to be Artest that does it. This team is made of WIN. WIN, I tell you, WIN!

I'm not entirely convinced. Look at the next step Howard takes. He continues to do that little skip step thing. It's possible that's just how he was slowing down and the legs get crossed.

I THINK it was intentional, but you really can't be sure. He wasn't even looking at Yao.

Regardless it should be sent in so that the league can now to keep a close eye on him.

it was intentional... watch howards right foot he does a skip/hop to keep his left leg out there longer. it's hard to catch but its there.

I think it was intentional but the evidence is not clear enough. If I were a ref I'd have to call it "inconclusive." :(

Where is Bobby Sura when you need him? Remember in 04 when Howard came through the lane, and Sura POPPED him? That ranks right below the "sucks the gravity right out of the building" as my favorite play in the series.
