in a post-game interview josh howard was asked about artets play and he replied: (Talk about Ron Artest’s game?) – “Ron’s a hell of a player no matter where he goes. He’s going to always help and contribute so he finished the game with 29 when TMac couldn’t finish the game.” IS THIS GUY FRICKEN SERIOUS!!!!
relax. he didn't mean it like that. carlisle said the same thing. i think they know about tracy's knee.
as usual. the guy doesnt use his head before shooting off that dirty mouth of his. well, he's cuban's problem not ours.
theres nothing wrong with that statement. thats a fact. tmac didnt finish THIS game. the lineup during the 4th was closing the game. no need to mess that up. tmac will close out games. its not like hayes and brooks will finish the rest of the 80 games
People always take quotes out of context. It really wasn't that hard to tell what he meant considering T-mac didn't finish the game. He didn't mean if T-mac was playing he can't finish a game.
Did anyone see this dirty play from Howard as described by Feigen? I don't think I saw it. "Howard did get the Rockets' attention. He had collided with Yao on the other end and did not like it. Within minutes, with five minutes left in the third quarter, he stuck a leg out and tripped Yao. The Rockets must have checked out the video because when a few members of the group mentioned the play, they referred to it as happening "at 5:12 in the third quarter"
you fell awkwardly for no apparent reason in the 3rd. that's when it happened. maybe the rockets can also send the tape to the league office and ask for a technical being called on that play.
Yeah I think I remember that. They were fighting for a rebound or Yao hit him or something so on the way back I noticed Yao fell down and I figured Yao didn't fall just for the hell of it...haha Whatever. There's no love lost between the Rockets and the Mavpricks. Just as long as we stat a new trend of always beating them...I'm more than happy. Btw big ups to Aaron Brooks.
I saw it and I told my wife that I wish Yao had turned around and cold cocked that b****. I thought it was pretty obvious that it was intentional.
Why do people feel the need to always say something negative about McGrady. How come we didn't hear anything about Webber when he stunk it up in Golden State, or Jason Kidd who quit on the Nets? Same situation - overpaid, over-the-hill star, who isn't as great as he used to be. I don't care what anyone says, I would be pissed off if we traded McGrady for anyone not named Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Chris Paul, or Steve Nash.
Are you implying that I said something negative about Mac? Because if you are ... you misunderstood me.
nah man, I know where your coming from. Shake it off, it's not a big deal, Howard is just mad because he lost. But I also understand where the posters who aren't okay with his statements are coming from. I'm tired of hearing the same crap about McGrady over and over again.
But Tmac couldn't finish the game... If Amare got injured in the 4th and Nash scored 20 in the 4th and the same thing was said you wouldn't give a toss.
