Im reading the mavs fan's after game reaction, and they are like Green should have gone in instead of Stackhouse. I mean comon, we all know how Green sucks.

amazing to see some glimpses of what we'll be seeing consistently when we really start gelling.

getting mcgrady fully healthy and battier back is going to take this team to another level. i'm pumped.

after that i'm really interested in seeing what happens when everyone gets the offense down as well as brent barry has it. watch that guy move without the ball and think about everyone doing that.

there's going to be a tendency here to forget how good t-mac is, just like some people forgot about yao at the end of last season, but when we get that pick and roll with yao going and with the defense having to keep and eye on artest. wow.

You realize it's the way he says things that he gets criticism. He could have said "You know I really wanted to be in the 4th qtr bad but I just couldn't get the lift I wanted and I was being a detriment out there, so it's a blessing that Ron was out there kicking ass while I was sitting on the bench in the 4th."

But Tracy just says things that doesn't exactly spell "Whatever it takes, I'm a Tru Warier also"

I love how after Ron hit the dagger 3 that everyone on the bench including Tmac came out to chest bump and celebrate with him.

It's called constructive criticism. And I'm above any type of criticism. ;)

lol, yao said the same thing last yr in that blazers win when he sat out in the 4th, similar to tracy's.

how about he said how he felt at the time? it was truly a great feeling to sit back and watch another guy take over? it shows tmac is not selfish, and is appreciative of other great performances by his teammates.

look at this garbage from ESPN:

    e notes
The Mavericks fell to 6-2 in home openers at the American Airlines Center. ... Yao had the embarrassment of missing a wide-open dunk, making the mistake of thinking he was closer than he actually was. He got stuffed by the rim, but got bailed out by a foul call and redeemed himself by hitting both shots. ... Carlisle fell to 1-2 in coaching debuts. He lost with Detroit in 2001-02 and won with Indiana in 2003-04.

It was no big deal, plus he was fouled.

disgruntled wanna be. whenever a comment is prefaced by "I really wanted him to say" ... its about a displaced fan who couldn't be.

nothing to do with an excited player just giving his honest take.

"I really wanted him to say"

learn how to read, nothing to do with my honest take on his comments

your comment was just crummy bait material

Most worrying statistic of the night, Yao played 40 minutes on a back to back in only the 2nd game of the season.

I'd worry if this carries on because I don't think Yao is the type of player to play 40 minutes a game, esspecially on a back to back.

funny chris webber said on inside the nba what we all knew here that the mavs were a bunch of softies....he said they loved playing the mavs because they knew they could just do what they wanted against them and nothing would happen back because they were scared.

he also said they need to just pay a guy to be an enforcer or at least act like one on their bench.
